Since everything is off the rails, I would love too see the enemies to lovers trope applied to Xiyang and Xia Jing Yan.

I don’t think it will be sad. If you look at scenes of in closing credits, there’s one of FSG in very simple garments. He’s with FYX. I think they leave everything behind & go live for themselves.
