Exactly we had 2 ships sailing. Although we do know that the first ship will probably not happen. But I didn’t think they will kill both of them. Still the second girl can probably revive in the future given she has left a stem behind.

And I am not sure if the writers will pull a trigger on the Ml and the Fl. As clearly there were signs in the first few eps then as the next eps aired it’s like nothing happened. But I can understand the FL just lost her father so she probably isn’t in the mind to date. Then again when I thought that this will probably only have friendship there were again signs of something. Let’s see how it goes.

It seems that the members of the Qi family have 2 personalities. One is good and the the other is dark. Amd the sister has the black personality as she consumed the white one. So is her father the same too as the grandmother is in odds with him?

Why the fuck are they killing all the female characters that are being introduced.

He is dead so one can feel sad for his character. But a divorce was 100% the right choice for both of them. The situation of other firefighters with family was different from him as mostly all of them introduced in the show were living in the same city but he was living away from his family with no time for his family. Then the accident with his daughter was the nail in the coffin. He was a great man but he didn’t do shit for his family. It was better that they got divorced since Milan wouldn’t have to stay all night thinking about him. And she can be free without any expectations from then on. Let’s say in real life if u are Milan would u keep up with that marriage?

I said before that after a divorce this was coming. Isn’t this a cliche for a Chinese firefighter drama.

This Cheng Jinian is getting on my nerves with all his antics.

I think the divorce also did good to him. He might feel a bit sad at the start. But now he can concentrate on what he wants to do.

Qi lei should have applied for the post at his locality. Or should have transferred back. She did well holding this long without any help.

Ma Yi Nan is like a tree with strong determination.

I don’t see any drama mentioned in the related content section though. If such a drama would have released then it would have been in the news as it’s prequel contains a famous lead.

I too loved the 2 badass ladies present in both of the shows. But as usual they pair the ML with a damsel in distress. Still that doesn’t ruins the show for me.

Wang kuan is the GOAT in Chinese screenwriting. Hopefully he works on sword snow stride after Joy of life. But since Joy of life 2 & 3 will air in about a year or so diff . I don’t think we will get sword snow stride before 2025 end or 2026.

I actually also liked the plot and story of this drama. Except for some episodes in the middle in which they go to the snake island if I remember it correctly. I gave it a rating a 7.5. I would have given it a higher rating if the ML didn't got on my nerves with all the time he forgave everyone. And yes Yang Xiao and Zhao Min were the best thing to happen to this drama. I honestly thought that Yang Xiao was a villain when I saw him for the first time. But he came out with a totally diff package. And yes char.. like the ML's in Joy of Life or Sword Snow Stride are the best. Like those cunning characters that are also street smart and intelligent. It is a bonus if they are a good fighter too. Do watch I'm Nobody next. I think u would love it. And yeah regarding the 2 prequels. I haven't seen those.
