Two-Face of a drama

This drama has two sides/halves. It started off as your regular Campus Romance drama. But after the 9th-10th episode it changed completely. If you watch this drama you will know what I am actually talking about. It's like the second half of the drama is not even written by the same person. The first half of the drama mostly focused on the Romance and Friendship part while the second part of the drama you see our Rookie Cops coming across a psychopath killer. Who is also crazy rich and has power and connections. But the funny thing is that they did justice to both of the parts. The second half of the drama didn't seemed forced and actually makes the story more interesting.

The chemistry between the ML(Kang Daniel) and the FL(Chae Soo Bin) is good not great. Chae Soo Bin was excellent as Go Eun Gang. You can see her years of experience through her acting. I wouldn't comment much on Kang Daniel as this was his debut work and he would only improve in the future. But he too was quite good as Wi Seung Hyun. The bond between our boy gang (Wi Seung Hyun, Kim Tak, Seo Beom Joo, Yoo Dae Il) was quite a sight to watch. Especially the bond between Wi Seung Hyun and Kim Tak. Seo Beom Joo the funny guy added another element to the story. And Shin Ha Ri was so damn cute but selfish. Her jealousy was a sight to behold. I am not worthy enough to comment on Kim Sang Ho (Cha Yoo Gon [Police university professor]). He is just too good.

I still can't believe that the drama that started off all bubbly became a psychopath killer drama. The writers did a great job at writing such an excellent drama. This drama leaves you hanging to the very last episode. You don't know what's going to happen till the very last episode. You need to see it to actually know what unfolds at the very end of the drama. The last episode specially was very touching. And rest assured I am sure you would love every second of this drama. So just go and binge watch it.

For revenge I sold my soul to the Demon

Song Hye Kyo is back. And she brought a wrath and Lucifer with her this time along. I personally hated her last drama 'Now we are breaking up'. But this time she has compensated for that miserable drama and made me fall in love with her again.
As one can guess from the synopsis, that this drama revolves around Song Hye Kyo's character's revenge towards those that made her life more miserable than hell. After waiting 18 years for the perfect timing to take her revenge. Nothing can budge her from her goal Im Ji Yeon (and others). She will use every card for her advantage.
Song Hye Kyo just stole the show here. One could feel the pain she felt and the anger that was hiding behind that beautiful face of her's.
A special shoutout to Jung Ji So and Shin Ye Eun's acting. Man they were too good in their display of emotions. And ofcourse Im Ji Yeon and other cast were just pinpoint perfect in there portrayal of their character.
The storyline and the production were also great. Loved each and every second of the show. And it kept me tied to my seat. I binge watched the drama in a sitting. This season had me waiting for the second season already.

This drama gives you butterflies.

As I am seeing this drama roll out every week I find myself fascinated by how good the Main Leads of this drama are in portraying there emotions that it just leaves me mind-boggling and a loss of words. So if you were considering of starting the show then don't think twice and start this show for it's talented actors. The chemistry between the two leads is off the charts. And the way they portray sadness just leaves my jaw dropped and eyes wet. You can actually feel the emotions they are trying to portray. The actors did justice to the script and storyline. The supporting actors also are to die for.
It is slow-paced romance drama which never gets dull at any point of time. And leaves you craving for more. The writers did a great job in not letting the story die at any moment. I personally am a huge fan of slow-paced romance dramas. But not many drama are able to pull them off. The writers have written some very meaningful lines, and the thanks to the translator of this show they have done a really good job, translating into equally meaning lines. As some of the Korean I can see is not what the English meaning is, but it fits the best and I like it more. I remember, how in RUN ON, she loved her job translating films and series, and through that series, I really came to know, translating is hard and meaningful job.
I rate dramas that can make one emotional over the dramas that makes one laugh just because I think it is difficult to touch someone's heart. And only by touching their hearts can you make them connected to the characters and the story. So do give this drama an eye. I assure you that you won't be wasting your time on it.

How dark do you want a drama to be ?

There are some dramas out there that you know are going to be great after seeing the first few minutes of the drama. Crime Puzzle is one of them. As soon as I started watching the first episode I knew it that I would love each and every moment of this drama. And I am quite pleased to tell you that I was right about my thinking. As it turned out to be one of the hidden gem out there.
The script keeps getting better and better with each episode and you get hooked to the story line. The actors brought their roles to life. Literally loved each and every one of them. A special shout out to Song Sun Mi's character Park Jeong Ha. Every time she shouted like a crazy women I detested her from the soul of my heart.
All in all it is a treat for the fans who love thriller, dark, crime, mystery and criminal psychology dramas.
Ps : For those who can't handle much of a dark plot. Don't think about the drama. This drama is not for you. It's quite a dark plot with many bloodbath scenes in it.

A drama I came to watch with zero expectations

I love drama plots with zombies and aliens. But after reading the synopsis and seeing the cast I didn’t expected a lot from this drama. I thought that maybe this is another drama trying to ride the big wave of zombie drama success.

Maybe it is because I came with zero expectations but this drama is just too good. It didn’t had that amount of hype like All of us are dead but according to me this is better than All of us are dead . It is a bit different as it is an Alien invasion sort of a drama than to a zombie drama.

This drama felt more realistic to me than most of the other zombie/alien apocalypse dramas out there. It has quite a good amount of characters in it. Which could have gone wrong. But each character is unique and is given quite a fair screen time. This drama shows us all emotions of greed, fear, happy, grateful, sad, hopeful, kindness. The cast did an amazing job in portraying their characters well. And left us with an amazing first half of the drama. I binge watched the whole part in a single sitting. And will do so for the second part too.

Is it more than your regular Zombie drama?

Zombie dramas have its own fan-base. You either like such gore dramas or hate them. Of-course it is the story that matters at the end of the drama. I feel that the suddenness of a zombie popping out of places you least expect from and the survivors instinct of the dramas cast makes it thrilling for the viewers.
Coming back to the 'All of us are dead' drama. I was waiting for this drama for a long time and I binged watched the entire drama as soon as it came in my country. Even though the drama had its fair share of plot holes and a not so likeable Main FL the drama was a one hell of a thrilling ride. And what I loved is its long list of good actors in it. At points the decision made by the student may seem immature but we have to keep in mind that they were only high school students. It is thrilling to watch them trying to stay alive between a horde of zombies. The drama started as your regular high school bullying drama but it quickly changed gears. The story was pretty fast moving too and it never felt dull at a long interval. I feel that the first half of the drama was far better than the second half pf the drama.
Between all blood and death also there were some nice characters to watch. Namely Lee Cheong San, Song Jae Ik [Detective], Jang Ha Ri and a few more characters. I personally didn't liked the FL. Even though she was a good actor.
At the end I would like to say is that it is quite a nice watch for the Zombie lovers out there. I am giving it an 9 rather than a 10 is because I think something that makes the drama wow is missing from this drama and I personally didn't liked the end that much. Hopefully we get answers about it in the future.

Its time for some vengeance

I have seen many badass ML or FL in a drama but I have never seen many dramas with such a badass ML & FL(both) in a single drama. And why would anyone hate a badass character right. They are far better than those characters who are not strong enough to protect themselves or there loved ones. But have you guys ever noticed that most of the times these badass characters usually had a sad past .And here too we have 2 badass characters who are haunted by the scars/pain left by people craving for power more than they deserved and had.

Not gonna lie but I was shocked by how big of a scum the ML looked in the first half of the very first episode. I was disgusted by how he destroyed the family of a rich but a seemingly kind young man. Thank God, my hatred was sorted in the very next episode when we get to see that 'kind' man's true colors. Still he wasn't the ML one would actually love in the first 4 episode as he was willing to work for the rapists for money. That fact didn't digested well for me in the first few episodes but still his actions were kind of jaw-dropping. His ruthless aggression at times made the fight more interesting.

But the thing that shocked me the most was the FL at the end of the first episode. She was portrayed as a military prosecutor who was not strong enough to protect herself in the first half of the episode. But the end of the first episode left me at a loss of words. She was like a different person. Her eyes were burning with anger and excitement. She was a wolf in sheep's clothes. I fell in love with her.

One might think that if there are 2 badass characters in a drama then how will the villain survive. I have seen more than 125+ dramas. But I could probably count the number of dramas with a female villain in my hands. And the number of dramas with a female villains that actually looked like a villain would be even less. But Oh Yeon Soo you beauty. She was terrific here. Just mind blowing. She acted so good to her character that I hated her on the screen. She nailed the character of a psychopath person hungry for power. I loved her acting but hated her character.

The story gets better with each passing episode. And other supporting actors have also done a wonderful job. A special shout-out to Kim Young Min. Another person who brought the character to life. But still I hated his character too. There are many more exciting characters in this drama So don't waste your time and join our 2 leads in there vengeance.

A fluffy rom- com drama to blow off your stress

So there are dramas that pulls you in and leaves you craving for more. A Business Proposal is one of those drama. It is a cliche rom - com drama you might have seen before but that doesn't makes the drama any less mesmerizing. Maybe it is the cliche scenes in the drama that binds you to your seats. The cast of this drama was spot on to the characters they had to portray.

The characters in this drama are the types of character one would expect in rom - com drama. A perfectionist ML(Male Lead) and a bubbly but hardworking FL(Female Lead) and there brother/sister like best-friend SML(Second Male Lead) and SFL(Second Female Lead). So you might be like why should I watch this drama then. Let me give you the reasons why you should watch this drama.

First, the chemistry between the ML (Kang Tae Mu) and FL (Shin Ha Ri) is off the charts. They lit up the scene just by being in it together. Their first encounter had me rolling down with laughter. They have very well acted their parts and the visuals were insanely good too. Kang Tae Mu's jealousy was also a thing to watch.

Secondly was probably the chemistry between the SFL(Jin Young Seo) and the SML(Cha Sung Hoon). Jin Young Seo's aegyo( cuteness) just melted my heart. I never would have thought that Seol In Ah could pull such scenes off. As I have never seen her acting cute in other dramas. She definitely stole my heart with her aegyo. She was definitely a scene stealer in this drama.

Third is the brotherhood between Kang Tae Mu & Cha Sung Hoon and the sisterhood between Shin Ha Ri & Jin Young Seo. Their bond was quite special as they were always there for their friend.

Also the supporting actors in this drama. They were fun to watch. Be it the ML's grandfather or the FL's family members or coworkers. They all were a joy to watch on the screen. Especially the women of this drama were just too cute. A special shout out to Seo Hye Won and Im Ki Hong's characters. They both were just too good.

There are many other reasons to watch the drama which you would only know if you start this drama. So don't give a second thought and start this drama. As I assure you won't be wasting your time.

This review may contain spoilers

I have never hated so many characters in a show.

I am usually very kind while giving ratings to a drama. But I just can't with drama. So this is probably gonna be my meanest review ever. I don't know why I am even keen on completing this drama. Maybe if I can survive watching this drama then I can probably survive anything out in the world. It feels that I have aged many years while watching this drama. It is only a 16 episode drama but those 16 episodes are feeling like an eternity.

So first lets talk about the story. The drama actually started pretty well according to me and went well for the first 3-4 episodes after which it just kept going downhill and unbearable to watch. They were doing the same shit every episode. Everyone trying to break the ML and the FL who were keen on fighting them head on. Just like me who was fighting with myself to watch this show even though I shouldn't have.

Now lets talk about the most annoying characters on the show :

Kang Jeong Ja : Man I have never hated a character so much in my entire life. Even though she is not an evil character on the show. My eyes and ears bled a litre of blood whenever she appeared on the screen or spoke anything. Ha Taek Soo definitely deserves a medal for keeping up with such a person for more than 40+ years. I just can't get why it was her who was bend on asking for the divorce when it should have been her husband who should be asking for the divorce for keeping up with her.

Shin Yoo Jung: This obsessed and vile person also kept irritating me all throughout the show. As she just couldn't get over her fiance who cheated on her. And now she can't bring herself to see the girl her fiance cheated with(Ha young Eun) to be happy with another person.

Moon Joo Yeon: I just don't get why Ha Young Eun even has such a person under her team, She should have been fired long ago.
This person thinks only about herself and doesn't gives a fuck about anyone else. She cheated and betrayed not once but twice. And was still shown as a good character.

Min Hye Ok: Another obsessed person who can't get over her dead child.

Jeon Mi Suk: Even though I find it sad that she was dying but still she was very annoying to watch

Hwang Chi Sook: I found her character pretty interesting at the start of the drama. But she keeps crying that nobody respects her and all. And also she doesn't trust the one man who loves her. Even though Ha Young Eun even believed Seok Do Hoon.

To round it up I don't like anyone in this show except for Representative Hwang , Seok Do Hoon and a little bit of Jeong So Young. I didn't felt much of a chemistry between the 2 leads and they also started getting under my veins as the story moves on even though they didn't do much wrong.

So if you are thinking of watching this drama just because the ML and the FL are pretty , all the best to you my friend.

There will be no GLORY

The second half of the drama starts right from where it left us in the first with Moon Dong Eun trying to bring the people who bullied her to hell especially Park Yeon Jin whom she wants to be in the same helpless situation as her with no one by her side. Although it was not as dark as the first half. But it was still good enough. This season followed more of Moon Dong Eun hunting her preys while they fight among themselves.

The most I missed from this season was Shin Hye Sun as teen Park Yeon Jin. Man she sent shivers down my spine in the first half. But I must say that we see more of Im Ji Yeon, Park Sung Hoon brilliant acting. Evem though Kim Hi Eo Ra and Cha Joo Young's had a support role but they damn nailed there characters. And also we see a whole lot of Lee Do Hyun in this part who was pretty much a support according to me in the first half. But is an executioner in this one. He is turning into a wonderful actor even though he is only 27 at this point.

And now lets talk about the lead of the drama Song Hye Kyo. I think this is by far the best acting performance by her in any of her drama. Maybe we can argue on That winter the wind blows but we can still agree that she nailed her performance. And would love to see her in more girl crush characters in the future.

So in all the drama is great with a unique plot in korean dramas. Was waiting for it to drop since the first half aired. I binge watched both the halves on the day of the release. Hopefully you too can find a feeling of glory watching the drama.

There is a thin line between love and hate

There is something about this drama that attracts you. It pulls you in and leaves you mesmerized. Even though its plot is very complex. You don't find the answers to many questions till the very last episode. This drama was not that much hyped too even though it has some of the known veterans in Korean showbiz . I also only found this drama a week or two before it actually started airing. Its cast got me very interested in the drama. It has a pretty good cast. With many veteran actors and some upcoming actors.

This drama left me wanting for more from the very first episode. The cinematography in the first two episodes are a chef's kiss. As I have mentioned in my title that there is a very thin line between love and hate. And this drama is the very depiction of this saying. This drama that starts of as a revenge themed drama panning out for centuries may actually not have been for revenge actually.

The plot is very complex here. It takes a full U-turn every few episodes but still i don't know maybe the drama itself has some supernatural vibes that keeps you tied to your seat belts. Maybe you can understand me after watching the show. But yeah, so basically what I am saying is that this drama never gets boring and draggy. And you find yourself looking forward for what is about to unfold in the next episode.

Lee Jin Wook and Lee Joon actually brought the supernatural element back to life with their acting and Kwon Na Ra's acting and visuals leaves you wanting for more of her. A special shout out to Park Myung Shin and Jung Jin Young's characters here. These pro veterans were a treat to watch.

So now that the drama has finished airing you can embark yourself on the journey of The Immortal Bulgasal, whose journey is filled not with roses and petals but with love , hate and redemption.

I was gonna drop this drama

So you might be surprised after seeing how my ratings and the title differ from each other. How come I have rated this drama a 10/10 when at one point I was thinking of dropping this drama.

So there are dramas that you know are going to be great just after seeing the first episode. From now on, Showtime! is definitely not one of them. I was even thinking of dropping the drama after seeing the first 2 -3 episodes. As I was just not feeling any spark from the drama and Choi Gun was getting on my nerves for some reason. But thankfully I decided to continue the drama. And I gotta say that it is one of the most underrated dramas out there. I never came expecting anything from this drama. The story gets quite entertaining after the first few episodes and the main couple have a great chemistry in between them. And the chemistry between the boss Cha Cha Woong, the employees Ma Dong Cheol, Nam Sung Gun, Kang Ah Reum and the advisor Choi Gum is a sight to behold. Although I hated the characters of Seo Chang Ho and Seo Hee Soo(the father and the son). I found Seo Chang Ho's character quite funny at the start of the drama. But he was just too bad and evil of a person to consider it funny at the later episodes of the drama. But this doesn't makes the drama any less watchable.

A huge round of applause to the cast of this drama who have worked hard on and off the screen to provide us fans with a great drama. The actors brought their character to life. This drama gave me Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and Sell your Haunted house vibes. Which are two of my personal favorite dramas out there. Do give this drama a watch as I assure you won't be wasting your time. It has everything in it. From romance to a great couple to a good past story to an excellent team who works together and the supernatural element which makes the drama a treat to watch.

Came here for Ji Soo ,Hae In and stayed for the plot

I am not gonna lie that I came to watch this drama for its star studded lineup. It has so many great actors in it that if I started talking about it is gonna take a while. It was also Blackpink Jisoo's debut work. So I was pretty hyped about the drama. This drama had its fair share of up and down moments too as it was criticized in South Korea for distorting its history. Since I was not a South Korean I didn't had much issues with how they are presenting the drama. And I take a drama as a fictional work.

So getting back to the drama I think the drama started pretty fast paced and you see a lot of Jisoo in the first 4 episode. Not that I disliked but we don't get a lot of the other actors except for Haein of-course. Each episode span out for about 1 hour and 30 min which is lengthier than your normal Kdrama length. But you don't feel that you are being forced to watch the drama for your favorite actor. The drama shifts gears after the first 4-5 episode and we see how the story is looking and where the writers are trying to go with the plot. We also start to get a lot of other actors on the screen. Which I personally loved it. They all were great actors. Jisoo also did a pretty decent work for her first role. Even though she cried a hell lot after the first 4-5 episodes. But her character was by no means frail. She would naturally improve after shooting for more dramas. I don't need to talk about other actors. They all were fantastic. A special shout-out to Kim Hye Yoon for her character though from my side. Man I hated her character more than anything. But to bring so much out of her character when she didn't had that much of screen time was definitely praise worthy.

You can't predict how this drama ends. You just can't predict that. I am currently on the 14th episode and still I am not sure what the future holds for this drama. Even though there are many fan-theories it is still not easy to predict this drama. I think this unpredictability makes this drama a gem. The writers did a pretty great work. Hats off to them. The bonus scenes after the end of the drama were a +1 from me. Do give this drama an eye. I am sure you will love it too.

Argon is one of the most underrated kdrama

I never had much expectations of Argon when I started watching it. But after binge watching the drama in a single sitting I must say that Argon is probably one of the most underrated kdrama I have ever seen.

I have seen many kdramas that involved News Media. But Argon is by far the only kdrama that actually goes into the depth of what unfolds behind the scenes of a news broadcast. Other dramas like Falsify or Big Issue involved some personal vengeance or profit when showing the news media. Argon on the other hand shows the difficulty, a team faces when they go against the authority to broadcast a news. How they are forced to burry some stories. And how some people distort the truth for there person benefits.

There are many dramas where all the focus is only on the ML(Male Lead). But Argon is a team show not a one man show. By the end of the show all of the Argon members came together for a cause. Even though the ML was the center of the focus but the other members were also very helpful.

The writers did a great job here. The story improves each episode. You never get bored of the story. The story was so good that 8 episodes felt quite a short time. Maybe they should have made a longer kdrama. But all is good at the end. The drama is filled with strong actors who lived up to their expectations. Kim Joo Hyuk, Chun Woo Hee and Park Won Sang did a great job. And a special shutout to Jo Hyun Chul for his comic character.

So what are you on waiting for. Start watching this amazing show as soon as possible. As I assure you won't be wasting your time.

It is the start of a beautiful journey.

Chinese wuxia dramas usually start with a bang but midway through the drama the story usually ends up getting draggy and boring.
There were only 3 Chinese wuxia dramas that I have actually enjoyed in the past - 'Joy of Life', 'Nirvana in Fire' and 'Ancient Detective'. Looking at the type of wuxia dramas I have enjoyed one can easily tell that I like those political struggle drama with a great plot. Finally I can add another drama to that list - Sword Snow Stride. It is another hidden gem.

So as my headline says it is the start of a beautiful journey. Our ML goes on to a journey to lay down his foundation as well as the dramas. The tension and mind games in this drama are just otherworldly. This drama was a perfect example of action ,emotion and comedy. I was laughing at one moment, crying at other( especially because of the bond between Xu Feng Nian and Old Huang) and admiring the action scenes at other.

I think I have become a fan of Zhang Ruo Yun now. I loved him in Joy of Life. And he didn't disappoint me in this drama too. I think his character here was kind of similar to what he played in Joy of Life.

This season have laid out a perfect foundation for the upcoming seasons. Hopefully we won't be kept waiting for a long time. As I am still waiting for the second season of Joy of Life. At last I don't have much to say just watch this masterpiece. I bet you won't be wasting your precious time.
