Ha Young’s acting when her character demanded a Cheon Song Yi-type performance—she just killed it in those parts. But she looked and sounded a bit off in the emotional scenes. I’m currently on Episode 8, and that scene towards the end felt a bit off too.

like FL is apparently the strategist for the crown Prince and he tries to put the blame on her and get rid of her every other ep. He is made a stupid bad character/villain just for the sake of it.

This is a low budget drama and the story gives it away….

It was told from the start that ML doesn’t likes office politics and all. So they might show that it was that reason why the ML quit but let’s be fair the breaking point ended up being centred around the FL.

You are referring the wrong timeline. The 30 year timeline is the one where the current King’s mother killed his brothers (from diff mother) to make him the King. The crown Prince the above viewer mentioned just died as he was King’s son and since soon after his death the actual curse took place and started harassing the only living son of the King. So not much time has passed since the crown Prince died.
