A drama about a warm friendship between three friends as they entered into a new decade.

I've been waiting all year for this drama and it did not disappoint. The friendship between the three female lead is to die for. Their undying love for another is like one, never seen before. There is no jealous among the three female lead only a strong sisterly bond in which they support and elevator one another and their dreams.

Waste of time. FEMALE LEAD IS NOTHING SPECIAL

WOW! This drama is a something else. The Female lead is in a class of her own alright. A class of ignorance and stupidity. There were so many time in this drama where I question direction of this story and the Female lead's lack of intelligence.

Don't get me wrong. I don't mind if the female lead is idiotic or simple minded, or a bit slow . The problem with her character and the synopsis of this story is that the female lead is suppose to be a genius who along with the other three male character become the Emperor aids/advisors, however I don't feel like any of these character are wise enough to become the Emperor advisors.

This drama was very hard to watch, because the story is just so badly written. I really wanted to like this drama because the Two male leads were such talented actors. But the story is so......badly written.

For started when the FL was going to get kicked out from school, she did not think about the consequences of her actions while going to school under her brother name and how that would blacklist him from entering any other school in the future. Her constant indecisiveness and inability to do anything without getting help from one of the other three male lead drove me mad. She made a lot of bad decision repeatedly throughout the drama. She never learns from her mistake. I keep hoping that she will get smarter as times goes on, but she never does. GOSH her character SUCKS.

The First MALE lead is boring, but he is the smartest of the four. But his character is just so bland. He is not interesting. It's is already episode thirty can he still does not know that the FL is a woman. WOW. Tell how much thoughts had been placed into making this drama, given that there is only thirty-six episodes.

The Second Male lead starts out well, very strong character and very different but he character began to digress when he become confuse and lost. A Pity because he is my favorite character and his unique outlook of life made this drama very enjoyable until the development of his character changed.

The third male lead is crazy. Originally he started this nightly protest to allow more poorer people to become scholar but then he goes and almost get the FL kicked out of school. Does that make any sense given that she is the only poor student in the school. You think that he is a man with high moral fiber, but no he is just trying to solve his brother murder. But not in an intelligent way. I don't understand how or why he got away with some many of the things that he got away with. He father was not in a high enough position in my opinion to get him out from all the trouble that he made in that school. He just doesn't make sense.

Yea, it's a pity that despite the talented male actors in this drama, it just isn't good. Very disappointing. Don't waste your time. The FL was dumb in episode one and is still dumb in episode thirty. She does not think of the consequence of any of her actions.

There is also a hint of romance between the FL and ML that was not properly developed. There is also the instant where the FL get upset with him but it doesn't make sense because he still does not know that the FL is a Woman and she being super passive aggressive for no reason. It just doesn't make sense.

Originally the story had great potential. There were six kids that were chosen to become the core, six. These six kids were suppose to be gifted and extremely talented, they were suppose to change the world. But as the story went on, WTF happen to the build up of the six core, the pack that these kids made together to stand together against all diversity and help one another until the end of time. It was no where in sight, there was no sisterhood or brotherhood love as promised in the first two episode as the drama progress. Nope just a lot of back stabbing and manipulation between the characters.

Problems with the plot: or holes in the plot:
For starter, I don't understand the purpose of the purple eye characters. It was said that the people with purple eyes were suppose to be lucky and bring luck and prosperity to which ever Kingdom they belong too, but that was not the case. The prince from the foreign kingdom with the purple eyes spent the rest of his life longing for the FL who did not pick him and he did not achieve anything great or renowned. The second Purple eye character was also a busted. She was a villainous snake, that should have been given green eyes instead. She was spent the first of drama being confused, then the remaining as a resentful and vengefully person. Yes, life dealt her a dirty hand , but she blamed everyone for her own mistakes and never owned up to any mistakes that she ever made even as the story progress. She marries the dad but loves the son and then blames her older sister for sealing the man that she loves, unbeknownst that the person she was actually in love with was the twin of the ML. But even after she Finds that out she still continued to hurt all those around her, including the ML twin the only male character who truly and only loves her.

Why everyone fell in love with the FL. There was absolutely nothing extraordinary about the FL, she was only smart when the scripted needed her to be. She was very dumb whenever the script did not need her too be smart. She was not extremely memorable. Don't get me wrong the actress did a great job, but the script she was dealt was DAF. She in my opinion did not posses any like able traits to make all the good looking young guys fall in love with her. Like other FL characters from other dramas. She wasn't a strong Female lead, or the smartest, overall she was like your average Joe. I did not understand why they were so madly in love with her.

The fighting skills of the Female Cast: Like how they only needed the FL to be smart when it best served the script, the same thing can be said about the Female characters fighting skills. They were only good fighters when it serves to fit the script, when it did not fit a particular part or scene, their fighting skill is a joke, considering that they were the creme of the crop, of their group during their training days. It was embarrassing to watch them constantly getting their ass kicked when it best fitted the boring script or their lack of talent to fight despite training for 10 long years!

Too many characters: Too many characters, that the plot is all over the place, trying to tell everyone story and trying to tie them back together is ridiculous. It better to have fewer and better developed character. Characters are forgotten and their purpose in the original designed is distorted and becomes absolutely meaningless. The younger cousin was train to become the leader of the core six and that never happen. The six kids never changed the world like they were suppose too.

The Chemistry between the FL AND ML. Yes, the meet at the beginning when they were younger but for the first 16 episode there is very little interaction between them and how they fall in love with one another is very awkward and honesty, I quite don't understand how and why they fell in love with one another when the second ML and FL are more compatible in my personal opinion.

The ML also wears way more makeup then the female lead. And her magic ability to heal his leg is so.... unbelievable.... along with her ideas, that magically just appears when need. Although she was like 9 when supposedly like nine when her skill....

And so on there are so many other problems with the plot that I can stand..... Don't waste your time. It was a poorly written plot with some good looking character.

Take my advice spend your time watching something else. Not worth the time investment.

WOW. A surprisingly good drama with good casting. MUST SEE DRAMA

WOW, I was very skeptical about checking out this drama at first, because of LU HAN. Let's be honesty his last few drama has not been very good. But I have to say his depiction of his character Xiao Feng was wonderful. But La Han was not the only character who did a good job in drama. I believe that every member of the cast, from the director to the all the small characters did a wonderful job. The stories of each character was so well developed. From the four main character to the smaller characters role. Every character had a purpose to the story and it's development.

What was good about the drama: I loved how both the ML character had their own flaws and problems and how they were able to overcome it together. Despite the fact that they were living in different time loop that separated the characters by eleven years. The friendship that was build with one another despite only being able to communicate with one another for 2 minutes and thirty second a day was amazing. The brotherhood that they built over that short time span was magical. They became one another support and confidant despite only meeting for small snip-it of time. Not only were their interaction good, I also love how all the other characters grows up together and change as they all bond over the game and how it improved their lives.

Short summary of the plot. The story out with Xiao Feng a young lost man who is just living his life chasing video games in 2008 and seemingly going nowhere in his life. A time where video gaming was looked down upon for it's for a lack of better word inability to provide gamer with a proper career. His character goes through up and downs as he begins to question his future as a gamer and the disappointment he had caused his family. Afraid of disappointing his parents and despite hearing from Luo Xiao Bai that his team would eventually go one and win the torment for the game crossfire, Xiao Feng quits gaming all together and official disband his team, despite being one of the only two remaining members of a five member team. He began working and is even offered a full time position. Despite being offered what most people without a college education would considered to be a solid careers he quit and decided to follow his dream by reuniting his broken team members together and finally succeeding in winning the torment with the help of former high school class mate A-Lan who becomes his biggest supporter and love interest. Amazingly even with the knowledge of knowing that Luo Xiao Bei character is in the not so distance future, he fight with his own ability and achieve his dream without relying on information from Lou Xiao Bei.

On ward to Luo Xiao Bei character who is a young high school student in a wheel chair with a dream of become Pro gamer but is hinder not only by his parents from playing the game but also from person with high authority in the gaming world. Unable to join any official team in the gaming world he along with his best friend forms a team with three other misfits where they experience friendship and unity together for the first time ever. Along with his trouble making classmate who help him with rehabilitate, they experience love, hope and dream together as they help each other grow and overcome their life obstacle.

Upon meeting Xiao Feng in the game, Luo Xiao Bei set out to change his brother and destiny once he truly believes that Xiao Feng is currently living in a time right before the tragic death of Luo Xiao Bei's older brother. Unfortunately, and despite Xiao Feng best efforts, is unable to stop the tragic death of Luo Xiao Bei older brother and the accident that cause Luo Xiao Bei to lose his ability to walk. The Plot however thicken when the audience discover that the person who cause the accident was none other than Xiao Feng's best friend who flees crime of he scene leaving both brother for dead and also the person in high gaming authority in the future who is by all means trying to sabotage Luo Xiao Bei's gaming future.

Angered by Xiao Feng inability to save his brother, Luo Xiao Bei vent his anger and frustration on to a distress and remorseful Xiao Feng. Who eventually bring a young paralyze say goodbye to his brother one last time as the future Lou Xiao Bei was unable to say his finally good bye to his brother. Thus improving Luo Xiao Bei relationship with his parents in the future as they leave no words unspoken in the past.

United again. Xiao Feng and Luo Xiao Bei began to ponder about the future where about of the future Xiao Feng who is nowhere to be found. Despite his promise to remain by the young Luo Xiao Bei side, he disappears without a trace.

Okay, that pretty much my summary, do watch it to figure out the rest of story which is great and it has a great ending. Loved how the story fell together as the legendary gamer from the past meets the future player and become each other support and lifetime friends in the final few episodes.

Favorite acting scenes for me: When Luo Xiao Bei Brother died- the grief displayed by young Luo Xiao Bei and his father was so realistic that I cried with the characters. The Scene when Chue Gu read her story in class and all the classmate cried along side with her.( I also cried) The distress look on Xiao Feng face when he saw the accident he so desperately tried to prevent and his downward spiral for the next episodes in response to his failure.

This Drama by far one of my favorite drama from 2020. It is a bit slow pace, but it is well develop. This did not drag at all for me considering how all the characters and their personal growth reflected in the growth of the two main lead.

Luke warm drama

What to say about this drama...... HMMM . It didn't stand out much. It was an IDOL DRAMA that did not leave much impression. Everything was luke-warm water. It wasn't cold enough to cool someone down or hot enough to heat someone up.

So the story starts out with two sister who enter the palace one becoming a cook and one sister who take the identity of another woman and become the Emperor's Concubine.

Each sister faces their own tragedy and it slowly begins to change their relationship with one another.

Our FL is the sister who enters the palace as the cook, who fall in love with a talented lord, who is also sword man/investigator. With her loud and outspoken character our ML fall madly in love with her. Their relationship is put to the test when people of the court and palace attempted to separate them through small and dumb schemes. Their relationship is put to the ultimate test right before their marriage when our FL discovers that her parents were killed by the ML father. (typical plot twist)

The other sister who become the Emperor's Concubine is torn when she reunited with her first love after becoming the Emperor's woman. When sent into exile she attempts to escape with him to a far away palace but fail to do so when he comes down with cold feet after suffering from an injury he received from saving her life. Their relationship becomes dangerous with their back and forth interaction is question by the people in the palace and eventually the Emperor himself.

ML is a boring and uninteresting character who is just used a filler to assist the FL when she is unable to solve her own problem. Don't get me wrong, the actor did a wonderful job playing his character, whoever the character himself was bland.

The Emperor was dumb.

The female Concubine that always trying to discredit the FL and her sister was also bland/boring and very stupid. She accomplished nothing.

The FL rival for the ML was extremely childish and stupid. I could not understand the purpose of her character and her ability to get away with all the BS that she pulled when her uncle was only a small time official. DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

The revenge element was poorly written and developed and delivered. The scheming was short and very simplistic and so dumb, I don't even understand how or why the character fell for those traps. The use of politics was not for a lack of better words urm.... very poorly executed and used in plot development. The Romance was also very strange, I felt like all of a suddenly this cold hearten man feel in love with this foolish woman. Strange. It did not fit my bill of a good romances. And the behavior of the FL is outrageously over the top. In a serious historical drama, I honesty doubt she could get away with her outrageous behavior and attitude, she would have been killed if she had that behavior in Yanxi Palace.

Honesty don't waste your time. It is very disappointing.

Why this drama is not okay... and it did not age well. Let's be realistic!

I watch the orginal and the korean remake many years ago and now that I am watching this remake as an adult, I find that this drama is really not okay.

Here are something I really hope that they would have changed and that is that the FL would have picked the second ML instead of the ML. Don't shot me just yet, listen to my explanation first. Let's talk about how wishy washy the ML is toward the FL during their marriage. He kept running back to the second FL which in my opinion, is unacceptable. Let's take talk about how it destoryed the FL herself esteem and confidence in herself. He practically destoryed her. Emotional, physically and pyshologyically . The ML is selfish and only care about himself. Think about the scene when Elaine called Dylan and had her mental break down. It really was not okay, her abuser, Yes her abuser, comes backs and inserts himself into her life without any thoughts of mental instablilty or pain that he caused her because he so called "loves her."

A love so strong that he would abondoned her all the time for his exgirlfriend. Yes, I understand that he still had unresolve feeling for his ex but that did not justify how he treated the FL. In retrospect he is nothing more than a cheater and a user. He user her to keep his grandmother happy and he never gave her any security. It was only after he realized that she was gone, that he truly missed her. And I don't even believe that he missed her because he loved her. I believe whole heartedly, that he only missed her, because she was the one and only woman outside of his family that truly loved him with all her heart.

His love for her was out of remorse and regret of letting go of the one person willing to put his happiness first before her own. Something he had always wanted from his exgirlfriend.

Yes, I acknowledge that some of the interaction that the FL and ML had together was indeed sweet, but it does not excuse his wishy washy behavior toward her. It really crushed the FL confidences and her esteem, which cancels out all the sweet thing that the ML has ever done for the FL.

Why I believe that FL should have picked the second ML.

The second ML loves Elanie unconditionally and he help pick her up when she nothing but an empty shell of her former self. He gave her the self esteem that she lost with the ML. He supported her when the whole world had their backs turn against her. I am talking about how people treated her poorly before and how no one ever paid any attention to her. He gave her the world. He helped her become the beautiful shinny person she never thought that she could be. He stood by her side and never asked for anything in return. If you asked me, what Dylan gave Elanie was the ultimate TRUE LOVE.

I don't understand why Elanie was never able to give up the ML or why she never allowed herself to love Dylan, who was the true hero in this story.

I don't understand how a few months of very little affection and a life time of emotional damaging memory is worth less then five long years of recieving kindness, support and encouragement.

To me, as an adult I don't understand this drama anymore. I don't understand why someone would chose to be with someone who had cause them so much grief in a few months, and not someone who help you become the best that you could be with unconditional support and love.

Overall, the storyline did not age well for me. As an adult, I believe that love is the best when the person you are with helps build you up and supports you through your darkest time. Not just someone who comes storming in from the past and forces himself into your every day space until you accept him,

To start off the moive was great! The actors were phemonenal. Everyone did a great job protraying their characters. The tear jerking scenes were so touching and emotionally heart wretching. I love the interaction between the two Nie brothers and their disciplines.

Could you watch this moive without watching the Untamed? -Absolutely not. Honestly and quite frankly the moive can be quite confusing if you have never heard or watch The Untamed prior this. The moive is missing alot of character and story development, which is explained in the The Untamed of course.

Yes, you should watch this movie, if and only if you want to better understand the relationship between the the Nie Brothers, who have very little interaction with one another in the Untamed. Despite saying that the moive was great, I do have to say that it story plot was very predictiable along with the events. I do however enjoy the moive giving Nie Huai Sang a chance to shine as the genius he truly was. He was a genius, who was misunderstood by many because of his inability to properly wield a sword. However his unique way of thinking allowed him to save him and Nie Mingjun when all the odds were against them.

Another highlight, is Nie MingJun character whom is known to be this stoic man who never waviers at any adversity, however this moive dipict him as more then just the legendary Blade Master. He is compassionate and benevolent man whom only wish to see his brother succeed. Plus his fight scenes were amazing.

Here are some problems that I had with the film.- For starter, it was too short. I felt that the moive should have been alittle longer and a little better developed. More bromance between the two would not have hurt. Another problem that I had was, that ending fell short of my expectation.

What I was anticipating from the moive. I knew that the moive was going be surrounding the relationship of the two Nie brother, but I was expecting a better ending. No, I already knew that Blade Master was going to die, so I was not expecting a mircle to happen. My only expectation, was to see the logic of how Nie Huai Sang figured out that Jin Guangyao was the person behind the death of the blade master. Yes, that scene does exist in the moive however that scene was too fast and honestly I wanted more, I wanted to see Nie Huai Sang finding the mistake between the song of clarity and the song of Clamity. I was also expecting to see him appoarch the orginally Mo Xuan Yu and then we can fill in the rest with The Untamed.

Overall, Production value was great and the acting was wonderful. It was worth the watch, but the ending is a bit disappointing.

No chemistry between the FL and ML

The story itself is not so bad. It's an idol drama, so don't expect so much from the plot. It's a very generic plot with a very similar twist and character development.

I do like most of the actors and actress. There are some very good scenes but there is nothing very special. I do enjoy the characters interactions with one another. I think it is very cute.

I do however, have one complaint, and that is the chemistry, or better yet the lack of chemistry between the ML and FL. They just don't make sense together. I understand why he like her, it is because she's cuter and smarter than him but I don't understand why she like him. I feel like the relationship is still very forced and not natural. There nothing special about him that make him attractive. I don't understand why someone like her would fall in love with someone like him. He's not very supportive of her character and he doesn't bring out the best in her. He is also not helpful at all to her.

The ML is this very BORING character who is suppose to be a very talented martial artist but yea. URMmm that's all that he got going for him.

The FL on the other hand is a more three dimensional character. She funny, sweet and driven. I love how she tries her best to do whatever it is that she is doing.

I do like the FL with the second ML more because he supportive and upfront with her. I think naturally and progressively if this was the real world, then she would have fallen in love with the second lead organically. I love how supportive he was of her when she entered the small fight competition. He gave her advice and his support. I also love, how he told her that she was not as beautiful as her ugly alter ego because her alter ego had a beautiful heart unlike her, but that was only after she had called her alter ego an ugly woman. I just think that he is so sweet to her.

But sadly we all know that the second lead is not going to get the girl.

If you are looking for a strong female lead drama look no further.... watch this drama

Take this review as you see it. As of right now I have not finished the drama, but so far I have very much enjoyed this drama very much. I am one of the biggest drama critic out there and I love to nick pick small and tiny little details that would drive many people bunkers. And here is why I believe that many people should watch this drama:

Lin Qin's character is the smart, talented and absolutely one of a kind. She is not the usually damsel in distress, dumb cute female lead. She is a bad ass fighting machine. Although she does try to kill the ML in the first episode, she does end up saving him a few time. And here is the best part, she can solve her own problems. She doesn't need him, most of the time she already has the problem solved before he shows up. She let's no one bully her and she is extremely smart. Not even her fake sister can outsmart her. I loved the scene when she threaten her so called sister for missing with her mom medicine. Then she save the emperor with her mad martial art skill. She is the true here. She is blunt and ruthless. You don't want to become her enemy. Her character can carry the entire drama by herself. Honestly at this point I don't see the need for the ML. (Just my personal Opinion of Course!)

Not only is Li Qin character unique, her acting is on T. Her ability to covey her emotions is wonderful. Her skills of a martial artist is absolutely amazing. I am hook on this drama because of her amazing acting ability. If I was never a fan before, I am now. She has so much talent. I can't express, how big my girl crush for her is now!

So far, the music has been very good. The costume are beautiful even the simple outfits are. The acting is amazing.

The Male characters are just so-so. Not much to say about them.

One of the very few most honesty and realistic ML of all time.

Fang Zhi You character is very different, he isn't cold hearted because some woman hurt him, it is because he hurt his friend through an unintentional lie fabricated by his father, to frame his friends fathers. He isn't cold hearted. He infact is just a very straight forward man with not fliter. There is nothing wrong with an honesty man but sometimes being to honesty is a bad thing because people can't take the truth. But honesty he character is very tolerable and practical. I like ML with this charcteristics. He is also a man that owns up to his own mistakes, which is very attractive, in my opinion.

Xu Yi Ren is not that memoriable . Her character is that of a dumb lying girl who somewhat attempts to support the ML through her devotion and kin ability to pay close attention to details surrounding his life.

Li Zhe is the second ML and also the friend that Fang Zhi You hurt in youth. His character hate toward Fang Zhi You is very practical, If I was hurt in the same fashion, I too would harbor the same hate that he had for Fang Zhi You. He is very intelligent when it comes to scheming. He does seem to be a very good guy with a very good concious toward the Xu Yi Ren.

I honesty don't find the FL intersting but I do like the two ML story and their friendship. So I am going to keep watching because of them.

But the story surround the FL and ML is very predictiable and boring.

The preview looked absolutely wonder and interesting. The movie however fails in comparison. I don't a movie involving demons, and more then five character can be truly told within the 72 minute movie.

What was good about the movie:- The scenery.
What was not good about the movie: A lot of things. For starter, the acting of the cast member, everyone but the FL did an extremely bad job even Zhu Zunjin did a bad job. For the first 20 minutes, I did know who the main character was. Zhu Zunjin did not leave a strong impression as the ML. The plot was all over the place and I did not understand how or why the FL and ML feel in love with one another. It was just like 'Hey, I kinda like you. You're pretty and nice.' and 'I like you because you were the first to like me for being a half human/ demon.' I didn't understand that aspect.

All the characters in this movie is naive, even the master. There is no character growth or real story line to follow. It was poor written and honesty not worth you time. Don't waste your time. The ending is absolutely bad!

Here is what I expected and did not get.- Originally, I assume that Zhu Zunjin characters was a wondering skin painter was going around and painting skins for innocent demons and ghouls so that they can live harmoniously with humans. I assumed that he is given a sob story from a deformed demon and paints her a new skin. With a new face they fall madly in love with one another as they spend more and more time together fighting other demon and evil ghoul, but she, herself can still not give up her demonic ways and eventually begins killing the people in town. Then a traveling Taoist comes into town and discovered that Zhu Zunjin character is a Skin painter, the man who painted a new face for the green snake demon, who was responsible for killing more 400 men. Force with the truth, Zhu Zunjin character is left with the daunting task of killing the women he loves, unable to he end up sealing her into the tower, where he spends the rest of his life guarding the towel, painting images of her every day, unable to forget her until the days he dies. -Just my opinion on how I felt the story should have been written and carried out.

Don't Invest , not a Family Love drama... it's going to turn into a love triangle.

I was looking forward to this drama given that it had Seven Tan and SWL. But I was very disappointed despite enjoying the first five episode, because this drama is going to turned into a love triangle. It's so disturbing , it ruins the family plot that originally peaked my interested in this drama. I am so sad! The synopsis completely lied to me! I also find it strange that despite growing up together, they did not form that chemical bond in their brain, that most individuals will naturally form with their family members, making them unattractive to their sibling and parents.

Don't watch it if you are looking for a heart warming family drama.
