The romance picks up after 5th episode. This season the writer ran out of idea and so they focus on romance and chemistry of the cast.

These two don't do dead fish kisses they kissed for real unlike most kdrama kisses.

The production team won't do that, they won't be able to milk it if they show the weaker writing first. The cast and acting have saved part 2 from being extra bad.
