It's actually pretty good drama. I would not say that it's the best of the best but it entertains those who are fans of the leads, the writer, and the director.

Amazing start! I hope it stays more as a mystery show than a romance!I wouldn’t mind even if she did all of…
He might be her ex boyfriend that was shown that he has died in the terrorist attacked...he might have changed his face and why else would he asked her if she has recognized him or not. Just might be a possible scenario.

Have you guys seen the stills of Koo kyo hwan 😍😍So gooood I can't wait!!!
I bet the sparkling chemistry is gonna be great even if there will be 0 kisses. I don't recall they had any kiss in "my mister".

Cha Mu Hee ? A total red flag! Having Jin suk as her potential finace at that moment she still hit on his brother…
Which episode did she confess that it was CMH? I thought that DR was the one who initiated the kiss with HR.

Title The Dealer
Trust me Rryu Seung Beom will be first billed when the actual series is out. Just look at this actor's resume…
That's good and I'll be happy for her but I'm used to seeing men being billed first (not all the time but mostly). The reason I commented is because I know this actor has been in the industry for a very long time and he appeared mostly in films and he has connection with many directors and producers.

I'm surprised to see roh yoon seo in the cast. Two MAA artists in the same drama.
Good luck living in dreamland, the real world doesn’t work in isolation. It was still good talking to you, even if you threw in a few names here and there. It’s all good. I don’t usually call people names in real life. I can debate all day, but I’ve got to go now. I need to practice my Korean cursive writing. Take care.

By the way, thanks for replying. I actually appreciate it because it gives me a chance to practice putting my thoughts into words. Conversations like this really help me get better at expressing myself.

Don’t judge HSZ too fast. She didn’t give up, and one project doesn’t decide her whole career. A lot of actors go through rough phases before they improve.

Yes, her agency is small, but somehow they still manage to get their artists into good projects. That doesn’t just happen randomly. It means they have some kind of connections or know how to position their artists well.

So let’s be real. If she signed with a random agency with no network, do you honestly think she would still be landing leading roles after what happened with The Impossible Heir? Talent is important, I’m not denying that. But talent alone doesn’t automatically bring opportunities.

I’m rooting for HSZ. I believe she can improve and prove people wrong over time. But her situation kind of proves my point. In this industry, it’s not just about talent. It’s about who represents you, who believes in you, and who can open doors for you too.

You can deny it all you want, but in the real world, connections matter. If an agency has strong industry connections, that absolutely benefits their artists.

This agency was strategic from the beginning. They introduced their artists as models for high end luxury brands and then gradually placed them in well produced projects with strong ensemble casts. For example, GYJ appeared in Sweet Home and Law School, and RYS in Our Blues and Crash Course in Romance. These kinds of projects allow them to work alongside experienced senior actors and gain credibility without having to carry an entire production on their own.

Of course, they still had to audition. Talent is required. But let’s be honest, they do have advantages. They are visually striking, they are talented, and they represent luxury brands, which makes them highly marketable. In this industry, marketability is power. That is networking at its finest.

So far, the agency has clearly focused on recruiting artists who are exceptionally attractive. Their two main income streams are commercial films and acting projects, but realistically, their artists earn more from CFs than from dramas.

GYJ, for instance, is currently one of the highest earning CF models in South Korea. The income from a 12 episode drama is likely nowhere near what she makes from endorsements and brand deals. That said, this does not mean acting is unimportant to her. She has mentioned that she has grown to genuinely enjoy acting and finds it fulfilling beyond the financial aspect.

Why was this even made? Season one was perfect! Rated this a 3, maybe 4 at best because the supporting cast was…
Jung So Min is a great actress and she did a wonderful job as Mudeok in season 1 but I think s2 has better romance and the chemistry perfect. s1 story was better but s2 romance is better...it's a win win for those who enjoy both seasons.

Relax, too bad you can't shut me up. Where did you see me saying bad stuffs about them and if anything I'll one of the people who will by hyping them up? Yes they are good and yes they worked hard and yes they succeed and that they are well loved and all I am saying is that their agency is one of the factors that made them successful.

Oh by the way, wait until season 2 come out everyone will be hyping GYJ up with the new guy. Trust me on this one.

So you are the casting director of this project that you know more shit that other people? SK is not Hollywood so they don't necessary play by the same rule. Yes, the new guy that will play KBS will indeed need to audition for.

RYS has done quite a few successful projects already and therefore can differently qualify her for whatever the role she will be playing. Lots of agencies are doing the same tactic in getting more of their artists to appear in the same project.

Yes I made assumption but you don't know the truth either unless you are the casting director in that audition room. Also, there is NOTHING in what I have written that says this was a TRUE statement.

Nothing wrong with agency working to get more of their artists to be in the same drama though. The purpose of any agency is to generate more incomes and the more works their artists get the more money they can generate. Other agencies do the same thing with other production works.

By the way, Roh Yoon Seo has established herself in the industry already she no longer need to audition for roles.

The leads are known to do dramas that stream only in platforms like Netflix or Disney+. GYJ hasn’t had any Viki…
RP she is billed first and yes most screen time, and for CTLBT she a lot more screen time even more than her male costar who is billed 1st.

So I guess instead of saying ensemble cast I should have said multiple main cast (sweet home, law school, etc..). What I'm trying to say is that most of her series that she selected and stared in usually have multiple stories (moving parts that connect to one another) instead of just one story that focuses just on her with the exception of CTLBT ( she has the most screen times even though she is billed second but I think I understand why she is second because she is junior to her costar).

I'm not downplaying her success and her handworks but they way GYJ selecting scripts is the result of her and her agency collaborative strategy (every talent agency has its own strategy). There is always a team stands behind ready to support her. If you don't believe me watch most of her interviews she's always mentioning and thanking her team for supporting her.

Both RP and CTLBT are collaborative efforts and yes she played a huge role in the success but she was NOT the only one. I have not seen any movie or series from any country that's a ONE man show and if you've seen one please show me.

I guess MAA has some sort of leverage to negotiate with D+ production team since GYJ was already in the first one and will be returning after achieving two successful projects with Netflix ( CTLBT, and resident playbook both were commercially successful).
