I like the FL serenading into the phone for the ML...there's something so sweet about it

I am not expecting her to trust or even accept him. Only to show some gratitude and say thank you properly instead of the constant needling and pretending that she would have been just fine without his help, which obviously was not true. It is just basic courtesy. It is also a little hypocritical considering how she also used him on a few occasions.

I am on ep 14 and I am not liking the FL that much at this point. I get that she's upset about being used and she's right, the whole reason why she kept getting into trouble was her entanglement with JXB.
However, she should be a lot more grateful. She can't deny that JXB has bailed her out a lot and yet, she still pretended that she could have done fine without him especially in the situation with his mother.
When SBL said that she was JXB's ally, she immediately said no, not in the past, not the present and not in the future. I don't like that she had no qualms turning her back on him.
Girl should at least show some appreciation. She cannot even say thank you graciously.
Anyway, I am sure I will get over this irritation with the FL. I still like the character. Sounds like they will soon become allies anyway.

That makes sense to me. That's why I was wondering why the show in the earlier episodes kept trying to set up the romantic vibes for them when it didn't feel like the right time. I am slowly but surely catching up. I'm at ep 12 now :-)

I’m glad you mentioned the improvement. I like both leads and think they are good actors, so I shall look forward to catching up to the next arc!

Wow! I thought the ML was going to find out this early in the drama but nope! Next episode looks great. Can’t wait!

True. To be honest I was not expecting full blown romance this early. Just that I wasn’t feeling any spark between the two. It felt off to me during the tender scenes of them together and the romantic background music playing. Almost as though the show was trying to show the chemistry but I wasn’t buying it.
That’s ok though- if the plot is interesting and the acting is good, then the romance is a small part for me.

I am on episode 6 now, and while I am enjoying the show, I am not into the romance as much. As individual characters, I like the ML and FL a lot but I don't see a lot of chemistry between them. I have seen Luo Yun Xi and Song Yi have better chemistry with other actors.

Maybe it is too early but even in ep 6, with all the romantic bgm, I was not feeling much.

I am going to keep watching since the show is interesting and I especially like the FL.

Finally! Good for PWX not repeating the same mistake twice and LR actually reflecting on what he said. Definitely a breakthrough

I don’t get these people…rating a drama poorly because of the novel. Some rate poorly because of poor subtitles . All this has nothing to do with the dramas themselves. Such silliness.

Yea, I don’t get why he won’t explain to her but it looks like in ep 11 things will get cleared up more

Yeah I doubt the show would go that far. At least up to ep 10, I don’t see any indication of LR cheating that way with SRQ.
