it could have been a really good drama but there are some mistakes in the script and the lead actor acting is…
You're being generous. There are lots of mistakes in the script. Yes, the acting could be better especially the FL but she's fairly new. For me, she's trying too hard to be cutesy with the ML and her expressions when not with the ML needs some improvement. ML has the easier job, act all serious and emotionless until it's time to flash his dimples.
Catching up from ep 15 onwards. My main reaction is to check out the bio of the screenwriter because who on earth would have thrown in so many cliches and cringe into one show??? Dialogue that was supposed to be romantic ended up making me do some massive eye rolls, a refreshing FL turning out to be more of a teenager, a tsundere ML who still cannot communicate and what's up with the clothes tugging? It's not enough that the FL is doing it, now the 2ML is doing it too...I only pray that we don't constantly get flashbacks of their relationships by showing all the clothes tugging scenes. Also, can we move past the face staring moments...not too much chemistry there so can we at least finish off with a kiss, even a peck would be fine at this point. Hopefully it is just my mood today after seeing my most-hated trope "noble idiocy' thrown into the show in the latest episode, and tomorrow's episode would be better.
It does feel that way but they both are suppose to be main leads and will have their own storyline and growth.…
That's a good point. I fear that even if it is a HE, it may be a weak one like the show ending with a narration of the outcome instead or a choppy dream like sequence that leads us to wonder if it really happened or not...lol
This drama is aptly named since the series is all about the Royal Doctors, and the journey of becoming one. There is a lot of focus on their practices, and the medicines and food they use. The romance is sweet but very lowkey and picks up only towards the end. The cast was great but the FL is not a very substantial character. She's there to provide the love interest and made a few useful contributions being from the future but that's really it. Her being from the future is really a side plot that does not add much to the storyline. Overall for me, it was an interesting watch and time well spent.
I am in ep 14. Can someone please tell me that Wei Zhi becomes smarter? I am about to drop this since that devious peahen is annoying the heck out of me and I dislike storylines where the FL is naive and blindly trusting someone who she knows has schemed against her before.
They did not show the proposal or marriage...I was anticipating just like XY but...oh well, it was still a great…
I rewatched and it didn't look like the ring when the camera zoomed in plus subtitle says "the badge" although I think he said something like "significant item". You're right, it does look like the same box. So I will assume it is the ring since I like that scenario better ;D

It's the weekend so I have time to binge watch if I get the express package.
Overall for me, it was an interesting watch and time well spent.
