Eps 19 - When did we switch to 80s style spy games? So fun! All that pink and goth š I wish there was less of the corporate scheming - I think there's enough about this couple to keep the show entertaining. I love how Xu Yan is displaying her true bold self now.
I understand why people were upset about the FLās choiceāI wasnāt thrilled either. But once I saw her true self at the end, her decision made more sense to me. Still, I would have preferred if the story ended with her healing, growing stronger, and finding peace without needing to choose anyone. I was ultimately fine with the male lead, but his character arc felt underdeveloped and somewhat flat. With his backstory and burdens, he was a complex character which ended coming across more like a jerk. As for the second male lead, I wish he hadnāt been paired off at the end as if it were a consolation prize. I love the SFL. She was lovely but she deserved more than just being noticed only when sheās absent. Itās a shameāthe story was strong for most of its run, but the final episodes felt like a different writer took over, changing both tone and direction. I was still happy with the ending since I was ultimately rooting for Eun Hoās happiness.
What a lovely romantic story about second chances ā showing that fate has its way of finding you, for better or worse. What truly matters is how you choose to embrace those moments when they come around. The ending was one of the more satisfying ones too ā it tied things up nicely while still leaving you with a warm, hopeful feeling.
Itās also a story about revenge and redemption but Iāll admit, I was far more captivated by the beautiful couple. Quan Yi Lun is definitely on my radar now; he has such charisma, and I really hope he lands more lead roles in full-length dramas. Sabrina, too, started strong in mainstream shows but hasnāt had quite the same spotlight lately. Hopefully, this will be the one that brings her the recognition again.
Ep 17 was awesome! I love Xu Yanās mother-in-law ā sheās so sharp and genuine, the kind of person who spots nonsense a mile away. She completely saw through Fang Leiās little scheme, and the look on Fang Lei's face was priceless. Also, Wen Zheng Rong nailed the role perfectly!
Not knowing whatās going to happen in the remaining 11 episodes, it would have been nice if they just ended with ep 17. Done with the villain and finishing with such a š„š„š„scene between the leads.

Maybe it is just the naivete which I can get for the princess but the physician should be a bit more worldly...especially the way she handled the situation with the children
Just finished episodes 1 and 2 ā absolutely love the vibrant chaos, the unapologetic bloodiness, and the raw energy of our leads.
On a lighter side, I understand the comments about the "abs" - not smooth at all...but the part that really caught my eye was how big his feet were š
