I get it that some do sit in front of the screen for 16 hours for an attractive male lead however if the plot is utter bs, most won't be able to do that. In this comment section i haven't seen a single comment gushing over the male leads looks. Everyone is focused on the characters' personalities and the plot. I am simply not attracted to any kind of “shagging” of other people by the leads. I would also ask you not to twist my words because my comment clearly indicates that I was attributing the manwhore tag to MLs who are shagging women, there is a stark difference between shagging women and being in a relationship.

(Ex: the tension in “Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale” comes from the opposite views that the leads share regarding money. ML despises “gold digging” due to his mother while the FL simply believes in the statement “why would one choose the hard way when there are easier options like gold digging” due to the difficulties she faced in her life. Their acceptance of e/o’s views and development of opinion due e/o’s influence further add depth in the storyline.

Loved the 1st episode! The upcoming episodes look promising atp. Hope it lives up to the expectations because Hae-In and Somin are two very talented actors. Anyway, there are some observations that i made from the episode
1. Both the leads have mommy-issues. ML looked a bit tensed in his interactions with his mother. He is more close with the FL's mother, it seems. However, the precap suggests that the FL also has issues with her mother. This is interesting!
2. When the FL checks his bruise, his replies "I get hurt whenever I am with you. My body is bruised and battered from everything you've put me through" kinda hints at potential angst. Perhaps, we will get some in future.
3. I am almost sure, he is not IN love with her yet. He feels a certain kind of fondness towards her and does adore her but it is more subconsciously. It has not reached that romantic level yet.

I really like it when FL get to love fiercely (something which is usually reserved for the MLs in Romcoms). Im Sol is such a character who would go to lengths to protect her lover, that courage was portrayed so beautifully by KHY. It's beautiful in a way that it was not overglorified rather shown in a very humanely way. Like Sol has that courage but she is also not immune to feelings. While she fiercely chooses the right (parting from Sunjae to protect him), she doesn't shut off her feelings completely, she acknowledges that her painful feelings are valid. I think only KHY could do justice to a character with such gravity and humane dilemma. Lee Sieun really won with her casting choice. Her brilliant performance simply makes Im Sol one of the best FLs of all time
