Disagreeing is not a crime at all. But calling someone's persoective as misinterpretation or misunderstanding shows is not simple disagreeing lmao. If you do not understand the difference between the two, then you are hopeless. Or perhaps you do understand the difference and still going at it, then it just proves my point that you are triggered to the point of disregarding another's perspective. Then you are the one not maintainting the decorum of a public platform. While I still fail to understand why you would be so triggered over a Emasculated ML being called out on how he is but perhaps that's how it is for you. However, People can comment but when your opinion in unwelcomed, it makes little sense to keep pushing your idea on someone else. And even if you are triggered to the point of doing that, still you should not invalidate someone else's opinion which you were doing when you called mine as misinterpretation rather than a different perspective. Let's hope you will stop getting triggered over Emasculated men, will grow up and do better in public platforms.

Well, I replied in your tone. You were the one who didn't respect my opinion by mentioning how according to you, i have completely misunderstood and misinterpreted things. I just followed your flow. In that way, you were the first one making assumptions that I have misinterpreted something when you could have respected my opinion and shared that you have a different perspective. My opinion was about the drama, J wasted around 40 hours on. You can have a different opinion but I did not ask for yours. Neither do you get to invalidate my opinion by calling it a misunderstanding. That's is not called having an opinion. That is forcing your opinion on others. The last two comments were basically ragebaits, a tit for your invalidation of my opinion tat. But it does hold some truth as well. Because why are you so triggered over a Emasculated ML being called emsculated sad boy is beyond me! Maybe reflect on both your disregard for and forcing your opinion on others, and you getting triggered over one's opinion of a fictional character! Reflect on these things and do better. I am also done here!
Are we not going to get the lovers teaming up and working together even once without this Yuzhi guy being a third wheel and following them everywhere despite knowing that his feelings are one sided?๐
My goodness, they are surrounded by cruel and hypocrite people. I am at ep 19, and the leads have parted despite their broken hearts. However, people around them still wonโt let the matter go and keep trying to poison their minds against each other. I mean they have parted for the greater good. If they want to live with the good memories of each other, just let them! What more can you want!

Well, you also seem to be making quite some assumptions about my interpretation skills. But let me assure you, there is nothign wrong in prefering lousy, emasculated MLs. It's just not my preference and hence I made the comment. Seeing how my comment made you so butthurt and triggered, my assessment remains valid. While it's okay to have such preferences, obstructing me from giving my opinion is not. That is quite an immaturity. Hope in your quest of seeing depth in emasculated MLs for the peace of your mind, you do not force your opinions on others. Do better!

It is a pity that Arthur was reduced to such a role, I hope he will be cautious in his upcoming script choosing because I still remember how impressed I was when I saw h portraying this very complex character in L&P. According to me, you perhaps prefer a certain kind of MLs (emasculated ones like him) and so found a lot of depth in someone who was mostly the lil lover boy hanging off this majestic being like the FL. Let's agree to disagree.

To me, he was an emasculated lil boy. And it was not related to his five senses. It was his overall personality that makes him a burden to the FL who has to babysit him. The comparison comes naturally because i have seen better written MLs despite him being a younger human and the FL being an older supernatural being.

Even in such setting, this could be done without making the ML such a emasculated sad boy who is only a burden on her. I brought in the reference to Zisheng to call out the image of the general it was setting and not the relationship Zisheng had with the FL. Even before Zisheng meets the FL, he has a personality this ML lacks. Besides, I have seen enough dramas with same power dynamics between the ML and FL to assure you that this could work and truly be the tragic love (which it failed to be unfortunately) if the ML had a character development and not a sad boy running after his fav toy.
See i eat it up when we have a pathetic yearning ML completely a loser for the FL and I like Arthur since the time of L&P. But gosh, did his character annoyed me to the point of getting on my last nerves! There is a fine line between a MAN being yearning loser for his woman and a emasculated sad lover boy. This drama can't seem to distinguish between those two. To make it worse, he is portrayed as a ruthless general ๐ (like why would you ruin this established image of ruthless general created by Zisheng, Duke Su etc?!). In which world, do generals behave like that? The wars are only described in 2-3 lines while he gets repeatedly harmed and kidnapped to the point of being a burder on her! Poor girl has to babysit the so called general half of the time!
While Dilreba shows her usual grace and beauty with occasional sad yearning looks, the wishy-washyness of the character breaks the deal for me. The boy says you would forget me and i would become the 23rd and she says nothing, providing him no assurance. So, if we go by the first OE, he may just actually turn into another 23rd! Explains why i did not feel anything at their ending when i usually end up with a broken heart during such endings. I was glad that the drama is finally over.
That being said, the drama ha d alot of potential in the beginning. A mysterious woman and an skeptical genaral bound to doubt her was an interesting plot. A woma as the Sovereign makes it more unique, absolutely adore women in power. The first 10-15 episodes were good. There were problems but I expected them to be solved along the development of characterization. So, imagine my annoyance when the shows keeps going round and round with no development in the FL or ML's characters! 40 episodes of nothing!
First that wrist Kiss and now that leaning on her shoulder, utterly defeated and helplessly in love with her!!!! AHHHHH WHO IS WRITING THIS CRAZY ANGST AND INTIMACY!! I need to see this writer and Heo Namjun win some awards!!
The only way to enjoy this drama without getting second hand embarrassment or cringe attacks is skipping all the scenes where the VC and his assistant are together. Later even VC scenes should be skipped because he acts as pathetic as his assistant for the FL.
I understand the anger this older sister of the sick girl feels. However, holding grudges only against the FL while wanting the ML for herself, who is literally the creator of the cream, is hypocrisy.
The FL has cried harder for the sml than for the ML. I get he's her "friend" or whatever. But it's kinda…
This seem to be a case with the FL? I haven't started this one yet but I watched another drama of this FL in which this ML was the SML and her ex. Despite this SML committing innumerable evil, she cries a lil too much for him... even I got an ick at that time.
I was sat here whining throughout most of the show because I didn't see romance/slight romance as any of the tags…
So do the leads end up together happily? I heard that there is no confession? This looks fun but i am really not in the mood for a open ending for leads!
