Full of dramas one after another.
Even though the story gets boring at one point, the first half was fine. I was content w the storyline until the father died for no reason at all, and it didn't even help the sisters get together or anything. Honestly, even though Yuwen Hu is one of the main villains in the drama, he's still one of my favorite character. The scene where he went to see his daughter broke my heart, I swear I hardly cry in dramas but this one scene made me bawl my eyes out. Dugu Mantuo was so annoying, not only did she not have any character development, she also had a glow down as a character. I thought she was turning good towards the end of the story, but she was still ambitious and evil....wow as expected of the best villain out there, but the actress who played as Dugu Mantuo did a great job acting out here personality.Was this review helpful to you?
Very light hearted drama w a lil heart wrenching here and there.
This is like one of those bite-sized kdramas, very cute and light hearted. This one of the dramas where I see the main couple isn't boring. This drama is really cute, like even the main villain os also cute. Couple interactions are my favorites here. I love how they're willing to risk everything for each other, and that's not just describing the main couple, the other couples are also like that. Idk if anyone talked about this, but I love the songs and the aesthetic of the drama, too! Great job production team!!!Was this review helpful to you?
A reserved drama.
This drama has no intimate couple scenes just so you know. Everyone went crazy in this drama I swear, but that's what made it interesting. I love how the ml was so strong and was able to withstand anything, but the fl was really weak compared to other female leads I've seen in other dramas. I understand that killing people randomly isn't right, but being slow on your job isn't gonna make the cut either. Wan Mei was really reliant on the male leads, she barely has any sense of independence so if you guys like openly independent and strong female leads then this might disappoint you. What made me get goosebumps in this drama was how the couple was willing to risk everything for each other, which was very touching, also everyone said Gong Zi is cute so look out for that.Was this review helpful to you?

A slow burner in romance.
The title of this review speaks for itself, although I don't have a problem w the storyline, I don't like how the fl's aunt keeps opposing her ang the ml being together, like his dad was the one doing wrong, not him, why do you have to make things hard for your niece??? Just let her be w whoever she wants. Another minus is that the romance develops really sloooow, so those who want to see lots of kissing scenes or the couple getting together quickly, I'm sorry to disappoint but this finna take a while, but overall the drama is great!Was this review helpful to you?
