I agree in parts. I'm reading the novel and I think FL in the novel is "overpower" (I think a lot of things border on exaggeration about her and her abilities) I believe this exaggeration is because she is the protagonist and the author wants her to be the best at everything, but particularly I find it quite exaggerated. In the drama I found it much more realistic and believable, although FL hasn't developed 100% and made it reach its maximum potential. A shame because I like Feng Wu (in the novel and in the drama). I got annoyed with the fact that ML had to interfere and save her, I liked it when SML helped her by giving her tips and teaching her how to win in the tower of challenges.

I believe she has interesting chemistry with the second male leader. The secondary couple have a very cute romance, with chemistry and sweetness. But it's all a matter of taste, there are people who enjoy romance between the main couple.
