The Li Xin Ze ai replacement makes this feel soooo off. Even his voiceover does not fit the rest.

True. Meng Ziyi's roles in this and Blossom are very similar in that aspect. Definitely suits her visage to be cold too, with how doll-like she looks. Well cast.

Rewatching this. Still so good.

I just finished Key to the Phoenix Heart and the FL was fairly strong and independent without being cold, mean, and often cruel. Not wrong though, definitely a pattern. I think other good examples would be Blossoms in Adversity and Destined.

I wonder when she will have more main lead roles. Watching Blossoms of Power and realized she is in it, but only as supporting again. Hoping for more from her. So lovely, though not very realistic looking.

I don't particularly care what her past was, but I want to see her in more roles. Absolutely in love with her looks in "It's Okay to Not Be Okay." Most beautiful woman I have ever seen.

Wang Pei Yan's outfits for this series are pretty bad. Practically all of them are baggy. Didn't match well with the FL.

I preferred the Zhang Wan Yi and Ren Min couple in Rise of Ning more, but this was fairly decent too. The characters definitely personified the title of "A Splendid Match."

Ren Min did great. I paused watching around episode 34 for about a month or so before coming back to finish. Good ending, fairly satisfying.

Hot damn, she stirs your insides with those kisses.

Episode 4, 39:28; "Ahhhhh. So this is why they chose an ice-maker instead of a washing machine." Damn, that was a lovely scene. She is beautiful.

The kiss scene at the baseball game...Her willingness and waiting to kiss, and his grin. 🦊🦊😎😎😂😂

The shopping scene in episode 3 was too cute! "Ah, and thus truly begins the attraction."

Damn, missed opportunity at the end of episode 2. An epilogue scene of Ji Yun shaking the soda bottle would have been funny.
