Warm and Simple

As I grew older Its weird but I tend to like simple stories. The warmth and simplicity of the love story tends to affect me compared to those cliche plots with third party etc. i give this 10 because I always based my rating to chemistry no matter how good a story if the leads are not compatible its useless.

And Based on previous Lin Yi dramas he is best suitable for modern romcom dramas than historical or he might be suitable for drmas like Wuxi a (eternal love cinematography ) .

I like dramas with not that much third party issues .

Career vs Love

What I like on this story is the simplicity of the story it talks about love vs. career. Which is very common. I like the poor and rich story or from poor to rich but I like a story with no financial standing involve. Although this story have third party involved I love how they didnt make it an over dramatic ex vs present.

In addition to this the story of heunseungs sister with the daughter is also interesting. I like how the cinematography didnt leave any small details like focusing on certain heavy scenes.

Before I like the cliche story with over dramatic plot but as I get older I seemed to like simple yet warm stories. Like run on..... encounter and this. I am actually disappointed on how lame kdramas nowadays compared to 2019 and below kdramas. Maybe on the next upcoming months for 2021 there will be new interesting kdramas.

I don't normally write a review but this is an exception. At first you will say that the story is boring but as the episodes progressed you will noticed that it is not. I like how they build the characters as humans. Not overdressed ML AND FL. Heartwarming story. I also like the chemistry between so young and taeh oh. They are really perfect in this story as well. Simple yet heartwarming plot. Simple in a good way drama.

And I have known Im si wan since king is in love and moon embracing the son he is really a versatile actor as well. Shin she kyeong is beautiful but so far Im si wan is the best pair that I saw being paired with her. With good chemistry compared to her previous LM.

Heartwarming simple Plot

This drama is full of chemistry didn't expect that fu pei will be like this. Lets stop those girls is the one who is going after us guys let us do the work even in drama. Haha. I like this drama because it is simple and not over dramatic you will not feel that this drama has ended too fast or got dragged to ep 28 to finish it.

If I can compare this to a new KDRAMA RUN ON is my newest favorite this year. Simple plot and story but with great cast chemistry.

Good Casting and Script writing(for novel non readers)

First of all if you dislike the fact that they have massive age gap. Lols. In ancient times thats normal. Even the emperor have plenty of concubines which can even be considered as his children already due to age gap.

What I like about this is the chemistry and the cinematography plus the script writing . What really impacts the overall quality of a drama is the director. I like the melo/romcom vibe of this drama. It is wl balanced there are alot of drama with good stories whats lacking is timing, chemistry and good cinematography.

I have been watching dramas for almost a decade now. Same with anime I cant count the movies, series, webtoon, manhwa and anime that I have watched.

What attracts me is the first 10 episodes and this series captured my liking. What i am looking is chemistry, story balance, and cinematography so far this drama has it all. This drama have the Story of minglan vibe for me.
