They are really good actors, and just because they started this journey together as a couple in one of early BLs when everything was in momentum and we accepted a lot of early work which wasn't good but now has become classic and trailblazer - these two took a lot of time before making a come back together and the gap they left was filled by some amazing works done by excellent actors, and productions that raise the bar so high that every new series that came we expect more, specially from legends like Tay and New.
But seeing this, it feels mundane and very ordinary. I know it is based on manga, and I am truly loving this adaptation as well, as the production is good, acting is good...like I said, but I don't know I feel like something is missing, a spark may be...for example the many BLs I wait for next epiosde, but for this one, I don't wait. There is no excitement, which actually making me sad, as I love these two, I have so many memories with them, but seeing this that I am not excited ior thrilled for this series makes me really really sad.
