It may seems overreacting and exaggerating but the ML background story was one of the worst, useless, pathetic guilt trip that writer to paint. Seriously when ML past was revealed, I loathed the writer, and the whole curiosity and thrill that they built over the episodes and his behavior, it was unrealistic in every way.

Such empathy can only exist in novels, thats why it felt, cliched, cheesy, thats the only thing I wish I could change, the rest of the drama was pretty nice.

I had feared already for what happened to GXF. Ma Li will be her destination, it is unfortunate that it will take her too much time to realise he is the one. Poor Ma Li, sometimes I feel, he truly need someone who can love the way he loved GXF.

I don't know may be the past 3 episodes are filler, as there is significant absence of both male leas.

this has to be the most bland FF drama ever.

Hidden agenda has 7.3 rating, which is quiet fair.

It genuinely deserves higher rating, but I think this is usual MDL homophobic agenda that won't let any BL or LGBTQ+ theme content rated higher than 8.5. There are so many good such series that can easily get a rating higher than this figure. But it is clear they won't let it go further.

I can't blame Yai for not protecting Jom or standing by his side unconditionally and openly, and the future also seems feeble for them. It was an era where such things, let alone being left unspoken, were impossible for anyone to say or expect to be understood.

So no matter how mad I am at Yai for making Jom feel insecure, angry, anxious, vulnerable and dragging him to this mess without thinking, when he was weak himself or stand for anything he don't believe in, it is a loss and pain for Jom. He suffered in present, and now he is going to suffer in past even more.

I just have to go with it without complaining, because no matter how much I write or vent my outburst, it was time in history that could not be changed, so you don't expect that 1920s would understand gays, lesbians and all sort of this stuff.

It is even clear from the future, that their story sank with their fate. So, Jom will return to future, and will find Yai reincarnated and then they will reunite. It is the best possible guess, if it has a happy ending, which I read, it is, as novel readers say it is.

Let's see how it goes, as their suffering is set to begin from next week onward.

among other KBL, this was a let down, I don't know but some scenes were sudden, there wasn't lot of main lead presence, also, the conflict seems shallow, and instead of guilty part getting angry innocent man had to apologize. I feel it was bit unfair. He claims to love him, but has relationship with someone for 3 years, I know it is not wrong, but still I didn't liked it. Anyway it was cute, I wished it had more leads scenes.

Thats why I feel anger towards ZJ, he is ambiguous as hell. He is smart enough to know who like who and who is who. That sister of his like him, and she is keeping him by her side, while ZJ likes FL but won't say. This push and pull of friends is the most frustrating things there is...I know they can't be lovey dovey in high school settings, but ZJ is not it. LQQ gonna get hurt, but at least she is not like that fools Xioa Fei, who has turned a blind eye on that singer of hers. ZJ, makes me angry, anxious and wants me to yell at him.
