This series is no joke. It is one unexpected well made series. It is:
1- well acted, 2- plot is fantasy but enough that feels real 3- brotherly love 4- second couple bickering but not over the top bickering 5- second lead entrance plot is equally fun, can't imagine the other way 6- the hearing loss, and soulmate stuff is very catchy and you want more of that 7- music is good, technical aspects, direction and writing is good so far.
I enjoyed so much, that I barely skipped any scene. 8/10 for me, and it is rare for a BL to hit all with its pilot episode, but LP really hit me hard.
Phu is not wrong, Nan constantly saying "friends are friends" and Phu who was loner had 1 friend in his life and that was Nan, if Phu confess, and if his worries comes true then he will not have the person as friend as well.
So I can understand Phu, actually I did since the start but everyone blamed Phu. Nan drunk kissed Phu, but right after you say that friends can only be friends, then whats left? He was so emotionally overwhelmed that he left (also his reason of leaving is yet to be revealed) but this played its part as well.
Phu so many times wanted to tell, but hold himself seeing him so casual and repeating the same nonsense over and over again.
Nan clealry knows he loves Phu, he confessed to that lady friend, but I didn't know why he always utter the gibberish, is he testing Phu?
If you want to catch a fish, you have to go near it, fish can't come to you. Nan should know Phu personality, that he is quiet guy, it not like they know each other from university, they know each other since the beginning.
Next also, Nan will misunderstand coz of the lady friend, as was show in previews, and then in last episode they will run for each other.
I am 70%, sure this will have typical ending, with forgiveness, and regrets, and SFL will make peace and leave the husband, to live her own life, and for her daughters sake, after such havoc, what a gibberish.
FL might divorce, but never will be shown be together with other doctor, may be she will be seen with him, smiling hinting that they will be together.
But god if they go for reconciliation or for family sake then definitely i will ate this series below 5. Otherwise there is no purpose at all.
in 20 Again series FL divorced her husband, despite the fact he was a changed man, it was a right choice anyway. But that series, husband was at least a little gentleman, but here the doctor knows no shame.
It's just a prediction or actually it was shown that he has a daughter with SFL.
not prediction, in EP 5 the daughter and SFL had a brief fight over father, that why she can't call him dad meaning it is only secret from ML family side, but the SFL has already told her daughter who is father since beginning.
now who the hell going to take revenge? with this plot shift, nothing remain same from second episode. don't know should I watch all episodes to air and then watch it, coz it is very frustrating at this point.
Plot setting is not new, however story preceding after is really refreshing. It is top notch writing and the acting is on top of that. Every cast member knows their craft, which is making it super duper good.
RMR embodies every role she is in, she is a leading lady forever.
I didn't expected ML and FL tough, but I am curious how their relationship will progress given what is going to happen to ML.
Also, the revenge is a core part of show, and I really want to know, who will take revenge if ML is turned like that.
AEJ is a goddess, her talent is hidden, she is a queen of theater and has a voice of angel. I hope she becomes A list actor and appears in more popular series with leading all man of Korea.
It had its flaws, but it struck all the chords right.
For a country, who is taking baby steps for so long, has finally come to walk the way.
I don't know if the presence of foreign director made it more open and raw, but it stands now among the top series when from now own in future a memory down the lane, people recalls a KBL and not name EIGHTH SENSE as one of their top three.
I salute the actors for going above and beyond, knowing their country is conservative and they might not stand a chance.
But then Choo Young Woo is a living case that their career can thrive if they act in a strong BL. So looking at him perhaps more Korean actors are doing BLs now.
I am so satisfied with this show, and for nitpickers, nothing is perfect, if it made you feel happy and satisfied, then this it.
For me technical aspects, cinematography, coloring, writing, directions, story, and acting of our lovely couple was flawless.
This now going to exist in my memory for a long long time.
It was a 14 minutes of satisfying watch, it is nowhere close to other KBLs, but it is serving it purpose. as it is classic KBL. And liked it. Solid 8/10 for me, looking forward for tomorrow episodes.

I don't know why Dunk, shakes his head, closes his eyes while saying dialogues. It likes he is forcing acting on him.
Everyone can feel he is not suitable for acting or need acting lessons to continue.
