Yes the show is bit bnonker, but it does it job to fit the description of BL in a very subtle way, I can't say it is best, but I am liking it so far.
It is light, save us from some of the cliches you hate, and the rival, who hasn't even spoken yet it became your favourite, so all in all, it is better than many. Also, Bom bad acting looks cute now to me.

it is not you alone, I do too, also the change in EP8 was sudden and huge, I feel he is just pretending with him to practice these methods with the girl he was so earnestly in love.
The gangster image suddenly turning into puppy love is a bit too much for me.
But Thi has been falling for him, since quite sometime, I don't know if you noticed or not, there were moments, where he praised Noey, also Noey giving him hugs and sweet talks, coz he though Thi was in love with him, made Thi fall for him.
Also, he hasn't completly fallen for him, but that is what it is.
And the voilence of Noey and mistreatment of Thi, is a typical Uke/seme thing in BL world, so you can complain, I can complain, but it will remain, as it is very core of every BL.

It just that previous episode Noey said he will chase Thi, to practice the girl he was chasing.
I wish he could make this clear with words and say that "he no longer chasing the girl" and that he is truly chasing Thi, and not just experiencing.
Even after such sweet and obvious lovely episode, there is this irking and unsatisfied feeling coz of the shift in EP8 was huge and what Noey said in EP7.
At this point i feel like he is just practicing with Thi, and not truly falling for him.
I need Fourth, I don't know, I am frustrated to the point, that I want to whine like a child and roll on a floor all over, and keep saying "I need fourth"...
One has to admit their relationship progression is very natural, all BLs have some distinctive features, but very rare it is when relationship develops slowly overtime with conversation.
Tin doesn't have a unhealthy obsession with Gun, it is a true love, and he is doing everything he can (high schooler duhh) to help the person he loves most. Even adults fails to do in their relationship, what Tin has done for Gun so far.
The happy moments, helping each other, sharing sorrows, worries, future planning, dreams, these are all important feature of this series and not just love.
I didn't expected this to be this excellent, actually no body had expected this to be this good, but it has earned a place in Top 5 BL on everyone list.
Seriously, P'Au should be praised enough for directing with such great ability, every scene is good, well acted, well written, no cringe.
I guess, a BL is relies heavily on acting. Look at First in Remember Me, no one can claim he can't act. But his previous series, everyone lamented him for his acting.
