I don't know if anyone knows or no, but the pressure of marriage in China is quite stressful. Men have to buy house, car and stable job to get a girl. And men is china do more household work than a women, which s fine you supposed to help your better half in every aspects.
But seeing such prejudice against Sheng Hao, was difficult, everyone just expected him to carry Jirong from morning till night and treat her like flower. This is unfair to anyone be it women or men, when your happiness is dependent, it becomes poison, whether it is love or not, happiness should not be dependent on anyone. Because no one is perfect, no one can full your ideal expectations.
From the first scene you could see her brother was the scum. It wasn't even hidden. One could easily guess.
i don't understand why some fans hate Juhee, this girl is not stupid or boring, she is a brave woman who lost…
We don't hate her but she is just oblivious to too many-things that a normal person would sense it quickly, her kindness has taken her nowhere, this doesn't work in real life.
We do not aspect her to be strong or wonder women, we just want her to take things swiftly, because she appears to be as if that things went over her head and she realise those things much later. She need to think for herself cunningly, and fight for her right even if there is little to none hope.
In acting and sentiments department, it does its job right.
But story is clearly told thousands time and not very refreshing or keeps you hooked.
I am fine with no episode airing. But i felt it was nessarry to details his past life in full length 2 episodes. It could have been revealed with every episode little by little.
But it is not certainly not bad. Lets see whats in it for tomorrow.
Why can't he speak? He lost his hearing but he is still able to talk right?
What he has it is called post-lingual deafness (after six years old). Meaning hearing loss sustained after an acquisition of a spoken language.
All people who has hearing loss later in life, adolescence or as a full adult, choose their own way to live independently. This includes their desire not to speak, because words spoken from their mouth won't reach their ears, and will never have impact what it had before.
For example Marlee Matlin, a famous actress had Post-lingual deafness at 18. Since then she choose not to speak, thus resulting in difficult speech. I have seen her speaking but hearing loss had impacted her speech.
Thus is because adult hearing loss is significantly associated with decreased speech comprehension. The understanding of emotions, feelings and meaning behind the words being spoken can't reach to deaf community. Which leads to stains relationships, daily life activity and severely effect their speech, which prevents them to speak indefinitely.
Director Kobayashi said, he cried many times while filming the series. So after the last 5 minutes of first episode, I was shocked what had happened and now understand what is coming.
As I never read novel of this classic story, I wasn't prepared whats coming. But first episode was strangely good but not tragic, until the last minutes of episode. You could never guess what was coming.
It was very clear, how Koichi fell for Oumi the moment their eyes met, and hoe protective and caring was he for Oumi.
"I built a wall around me since childhood. He came and built a keyless door. And he stood there to guard that door" - Oumi.
I love that dialogue, simple. profound and acknowledgement of someone pure efforts.
I won't spoil...but if he who came to him while he was a flesh, turns to soul and vanishes for others but only to him he exist forever, then I will literally be very very very sad.
He taught Oumi how to walk again, and if it turns otherwise, I should get ready for tissues.
There's NO shame for breaking off the engagement/wedding. I stand by FL.It's better to break off the engagement…
you didn't read my comment, I knew someone will misunderstood.
I said "...just like that" meaning she left the stage in a way that made people talk bad about her. She should shame the person responsible and then should have left.
Such humiliation she suffered was not her fault, why she should take it alone.
I am disappointed FL broke the marriage and left like that.
I would have pointed his parents for raising their kid like a bastard.
Then I would slap the bitch who came with good intention.
Then I would in front of all ask the boy to kneel, and back to back to slap in front of his parents.
And then a kick on his balls and spit on him.
And then would have left happily. Why always girl break off and let the world discuss crap about you.
All the girls here or boys who spouse or better half has cheated or deceived them, put them in their due places, forgiveness is given once. Not twice, not thrice.
In case of infidelity, kick them out, no chance of forgiveness. It will save you a lot.
And to the pathetic Second FL here in this drama, she is so desperate to get into pants of ML that she is begging him to like her back the moment she met him. I don't like her fucking sweet personality, it makes her look even more sinister and scheming type.
And the chef is whole other level of dog, like his personality is even worse then a worse living thing out-there. I want to throw him in gutter and have him stay there for atleast half a day to let him know he smelled and looked a poop.

That was my point.

Everything is a mess. But for some reason, I am drawn to it, may be hot bodies doing it. But going to stick to it.
I am shameless lol.
