Bond - excellent family drama, although you may find it boring, but it is a true gem and very very nostalgic.
Bond is a story of 5 siblings born into high poverty having alcoholic and useless father and their elder brother sacrifices to raise his siblings alone.

No, and there was no need at all, as he was looking for family not love and he got one and became happy when he was officially registered as Ljj brother, although one could imagine he would end-up with Ling Xioa younger sister in future.

I am a fan of Mouse, and I even wrote articles, but I do have to agree, that started solid, and great, but the killer automatically happened way before series finale, that became problem. It could have been a normal 16 ep series or perhaps 17, but not more
Just remember one thing...it is not MOUSE, so ML is definitely not a killer.
Many people will be confused whether he is or isn't based on his temper and past life, but he is not.
The way he tried to save his fellow brother in the opening sequence gave no sign of psychopathy.
He is a victim, and how ended up being a part of Judge family, as it seems he is not their real child, is a story to be unfold over the course of next 15 episodes.
He is seeming unwelcome in the Judge family by mother who truly never accepted him and his brother was too strict on him, based on his principals, or his past life but loves him anyway.
It is just ML is grateful but because of his gruesome part he is stuck there and the frustrations and anger outbursts are the result of that.

really liked the first episode. Like D.O Ok is one of the best idol turned actor. Last series he was the one boiling our blood but this time other are boiling our blood to see him in such great misery.
sad and cruel background, even though accepted by Judge family but never truly loved or accepted by mother. so he feels distant and hesitant. ahead lies a tough journey for him.

I am not Ji Qian fan, she is an average actress, but she is from a series, that has lot of memories for me.
Regrading the lead actress, I am not fan of her either this is my first time watching her, and she is alright, don't care about voice, I just commented as I was reading before about her on her previous series. I am watching Chinese series, longer than I should have and have seen worse. So for me I don't care.
the word Sabina does rhyme (because Chinese separate every english to translate in Chinese characters, here Sabina is translated as Sa Bi Na) with word Sha bi (傻逼 ), but the meaning is not simply Idiot. Sha bi in Chinese has a vulgar meaning (like idiot c*nt, stupid c*nt etc...). So I am surprised how a cultured teacher refer Idiot as Sha bi, if he really wanted to say a word he should have said 笨的 (ben de) which is much more normal used word for idiot and stupid.
Sand was a big red flag, no friend ask money like Sand did. Sure friends should always help, emotional support monetarily but the way Sand was it was obvious.
But she should make some efforts according to roles and characters.
But then again hardly any Chinese actor makes any effort to do best except those who really know how to act and choose roles that challenges their acting skills.
Her voice sharpness has been an issue in every drama of her’s .. I m not a fan of Esther Yu I just find her…
Well I don't mid either how she lives or what her style is, it is her business...but as an actor she should think that this voice doesn't suit as a character. So she should at-least try to change for a character. In a personal life or capacity I dare say anything or comment.
I love a couple like Xu Wang and Rong Rong. One is sad, quite, and hurt while the other is warm, kind, good, oblivious to evil, they just make a very low key standout couple.
The way Xu Wang spoke to Rong Rong in 16th episode out of his own sadness and misery speaks volumes of how much he is hurt but can't do anything, and Rong Rong, my queen despite being bit by his words, she knows he meant nothing and hurt and she backed him off so well. My gosh bith are gem. Like innocent, pure gems. They are very similar to Jin Xioa and Chen Zui of Lovely Us.
Actor should always do their job of what it is required in script as they are playing a characters and not themselves. Refusing to do what is the core part of something, is not an honest job.
He can do whatever he want but not romance if there is no intimate touch physically, refused by an actor. I am not being materialistic here, or want NC scenes or love scenes, but a normal romance series. There are many other series he can do where romance is not required.
Although many romance series doesn't necessarily required kissing scene to prove there is a romance, but those are made like that, no question whatsoever, but any romance work done by this persons, will always have me think otherwise, as he is the one who put the condition.
Never going to watch a series from a person who is not dedicated to their work.
In personal life whoever they are I don't care, but a character is not their personal property, it is made for audience, and audience has full right to demand criticise and voice their opinion, for something unreasonable. (at this point him not kissing his costars are irrelevant)
