I don't know about the book or the novel, but one thing they absolutely nailed was the mystery surrounding Big Jane. They kept everyone guessing, was he some supernatural being, the Devil himself like Lucifer, a ruthless mafia boss, or simply an ordinary man with immense influence and a deeply twisted nature?

In the end, we learn the truth: he is just a human being. Flawed. Wounded. Someone who chose this way of life as a refuge from his own pain. Whether that makes him irredeemable or merely tragic is for each viewer to decide.

But I knew the truth from the moment he knelt down and tied Small Jane' shoelaces. Beneath all the violence, power, and darkness was just a lonely puppy searching for someone to love.

He will eventually realize what he has lost, and he'll do everything in his power to possess Small Jane. But that's the tragedy, love and possession can never coexist. When you truly love someone, you don't imprison them or claim them as your own. You choose to keep them by letting them remain themselves.

The moment love becomes possession, it ceases to be love.

The man is whipped as hell. She says one word, and he forgets everything else in the world. He just surrenders unconditionally in front of her.

I really had thought Pond was a versatile actor but his acting as an "excited" and "overcharged" character is same as he has played before (and that was positive role). He vent his anger by using his entire body and entire emotions there is...thats not how anger or outburst are shown. I felt like he is a joker rather than evil. Also his anger is like a little child who can't take no for an answer, and has to baby fed for everything...he isn't pampered, yet he behaves a pamper kid...

badically LXF is a transaction for every help he got gor his family. also so wrong on whole many levels…but the premise ans atyle of this seties is like…manipulation, use of LXF by anymeans…so before truley love knock the brother out…for now LXF is just a s*x toy for anyone who wishes to ise him…also brother’s are bastard tellinf LXF that what happened to you is normal…like brainwashing him….entire people in this series are fucking horrible…but thats what the atory is … idk but LXF needs to realise his worth but I doubt that ever going to happen.
