Light hearted and amazing!!!

This is the only drama, that I look forward to weekend eagerly, even thought there are loopholes in it. Because it is light, fun, strong values and free of ex jalousies, and all the drama of separating a main couple. I have been struggling to find a love story that doesn't involve evil plotting of old ahjumas and second leads, but rather some sweet and bitter moments just like "Some In The Rain" or like this.

Its a must watch, Nana's improved a-lot, for Park I am seeing his acting first time, heard he was good in "psychopathic diary" but haven't watched it yet, but he is excellent choice for this drama.

Ravishing, dashing and sunsetty tale of love.

***Minor Spoilers***

In the beginning when Thailand started making BL, it was new and everything was perfect, those school uniforms, engineering faculties, and themes of straight guys turning suddenly gay, all was ok, until it became repetitive and over the years starting from 2015 there have been some really good series, even with same theme, but most of them are just cheesy forced love stories with poor production. Instead of exploring real issues, they solely focused on love part. Well I do not blame the creators as they will make what sells the most but I think, the time has come to dig deep into the stories, characters and real cinema work for such series as well.

I Told Sunset About You, as lyrical as its title, the story and camerawork are a real deal here. It felt like a proper series of an international standard. If you have seen Thailand BL series or in fact from other countries, you know what I mean when I say “proper series”. The cinematography of series is piercing my heart, it is giving me 70s and 80s vibes, yet the series is set in modern time. Written by a young writer, it does not reflect any immature plot in fact he did a pretty amazing job although the story might not be something unique or different, but it is scoring on people hearts.

Krit and Billkin, is doing pretty amazing job, both actors have worked previously in 2019 series My Ambulance, so their chemistry is top notch. I am already seeing so many hearts are going to break - Oh seems to like Bas or at least feel something special, the way he looked at Bas, when they were in car or the way Oh confides in Bas, is not an indication of normal friendship. On the other hand, Teh is like be my girlfriend to Tan and later he will suddenly be after Oh which will only be going to break Tan’s heart. I don’t know what drama is going to come up in this miniseries, but I hope things gets wrapped up pretty nice and quickly.

At this point I can feel the unspoken words of love between them, their silence speaks volumes of their affection to each other, while their sadness effect both deeply. For years both regretted being apart, but things have yet to calm down between each other in order for them to give name to their relationship. While watching first episode, I forgot if there were another characters because I was deeply invested into Oh and Teh, as the series is extremely short and I don’t want to miss any scene and I must say it, there screen time, never leaves you with unnecessary thoughts, it is about them, their story and their feelings. I hope Oh, come back to be his close friends, and that when ship will sail.

With 1 hour long, and total of 5 episodes, I know I will end up wanting more so I hope the conclusion is done beautifully in these episodes. Happy ending or sad, I am equally looking forward to both, as I know for sure, their love binds them together, and it is their love that has the strength to keep them apart even though their hearts belongs to each other, no matter what.

I Told Sunset About You is inarguably one of the best TV series in my archives, and just not BL, I don’t want to categories it. Having said this, I am also looking forward to The Tale of Thousand Stars and Manner of Death which also looks promising and different to what we have been seeing so far.

Through a Magical Tale of the Sun Lit Moon

This "sunsetty" tale to "moonish" change is one of the best I have ever seen. It is not an exaggeration and I am not that generous with words you know, just speaking from my heart. ITSAY had be in blues, and IPYTM is having me all yellow, despite the obvious change. The visuals, the setting, the camera work, the makeup, the cinematography and a wide range emotions these two artists are able to show is just marvelous and sublime work of art.

BL or not, LGBTQ or not, this series transcends into various aspects. It is surprising for people like me, who are accustomed to BL series for having poor productions values, and I have never considered production aspect when evaluating a BL series, knowing how hard it is for them to make a good content when people are not willing to invest. Over the years, from Love of Siam to this day, there is a tremendous growth in this industry especially 2016 to onwards. Japan used to make all kind of live action adaptations of their YA manga, but as we all know it takes century to get a sub for a Japanese series, so people interest eventually shifted when Thai join the game. Since then it just one after another surprise, and all of us have been critical towards it, that has actually helped the makers to produce and improve the content, and "I" series (as I say it) were able to born. This sequel to ITSAY is an example of a how work should never be compromised, even when the entire team that worked on its prequel changed.

With only 5 episodes, the content is solid, there is no filling in between season, and for the first time in Thai BL I am liking the supporting cast, their acting is not over the top, specially the girl troop who is not cheesy, like we are used to seeing where they gush over BL couple and go crazy. Seeing the acting of a girl, it was mature and actually looked like director really took care of it. The supporting cast however has not come up front yet, as it is vert layered as of yet. The group of friends Oh is having, there acting is acceptable and they are not typical boy troop tagging with leads.

What can I say about PP and BP they have absorbed their roles so well, that they actually looked like living a normal life off-camera. The rawness in their acting, specially BP gels so well with his nature that you can't tell it is bad or not, there are scenes, you will say cringeworthy if it were coming from some other actor, but BP looks absolutely breathtaking. His this natural way of acting is what makes this series eternal. Loving it, just loving it so far.

Regarding the story I am actually not concerned at all, happy or sad, they are way beyond their mere love. They only belong to each other, even they have loneliness keeping them apart. It is very much true, love alone can not fill the void, even if you have the person you longed for, with you, it is not a guarantee of your happiness. As happiness does not come from people. It comes from you. If you have little and you are content, that is what happiness is.

Oh needs to understand that having Teh all the time can not bring him happiness. I get that Oh is homesick, who doesn't? I was too, when I traveled at 18 into a completely alien country, so I can relate to Oh 100% but he is too sensitive to pull himself together. He is unwillingly making sacrifices for Teh, when clearly Teh told him he wants to be with him. I know Oh wants the best for Teh but he is hurting himself and this is going to put strain on their newly bloomed relationship. Now that there are people who gonna come between their relationships and the realistic "career and love" choice gonna play major role in their pain. But I am hopeful the tension won't last long and their separation (if any) is just another push for them towards each other.

This has managed to make a place into my top five BL series. Well it may not be the best of best, but it is actually a cream content one can make. Don't hesitate to watch if you are concerned about the sad ending, because some endings are not even important when the beginnings are significant enough to show how powerful the journey was.

Please join the official platform to watch the series, for those who can pay $6 per episode please pay. Initially I hesitated and expressed my grief, but eventually ended up paying because when you see such efforts being made, you won't feel sad paying it.

One of the Lowest Scoring BL Ever!!!

I don't want to be cynical, but this series was mess from start to finish, and to be honest one of the worst last three episodes, in various aspects - production, writing, and story. Acting of actors was somewhat appreciate-able, but none of the actors were manage to capture my attention.

It is not about happy ending, all the troops shown, some got happy some were open and some sad, but the truth is, all of the endings were unsatisfied, as there was nothing much to look forward to.

Decide on your own, but don't waste your time, if you are in even after 1 episode, because there is really nothing in rest of the episodes.

Can We Say This is one of Best Thai BL???

I am so glad that i went into it without any expectation and loved it, bit to bit.

Even though it is a ghost story, but there is no "ghost secret", and it has solid positive and safe humor, warmth and above that great ACTING.

Usually you aspect over the top acting, loud music and typical elements of Thai elements, but this series toned down those elements and very calmly doing its job into this horror genre that actually managed to kept me hooked from first scene to last.

It has great production values, visual effects, background score, technical aspects, direction and above a writing that makes sense and solid understanding of what is happening. No confusion at all.

The series starts right into its game, introduces us to Adam's Family type family of four sweet gh*sts who is visited by their nephew Kevin, who is unknown to that fact that they are gh*st and start his journey to hunt ghost stories. Meanwhile, a family is helped by a handsome helper Pheulm, who is very low key flirting with Kevin and already having great chemistry. SO how this story will proceed and how this gonna end I am super excited.

But one things remains, that this is very few Thai Bl series, that is off to great start, and has so much potential. It is true, the things you least expect, exceeds your imagination the most.

So Ghost Host, Ghost Host, is one of a kind and I dare say at this point, but a gem already.

Profound, Sublime and Saudade!

I admit I am not frequent JP drama watcher in fact I have mostly watched my eternal love Haruma’s series only. But I was looking for a JP series that could beat my heart. And Silent did that. When I saw the trailer, it skipped my heart.

Silent for me hit the most as it has the elements I want to watch, happiness, nostalgia, innocence, cry, tears, love, longing, sacrifice, and then love again. I am only in the beginning of the series, and we all know how the journey is going to be for ten weeks.

The leads are magical, their connection and chemistry are instant and electrifying. The separation and sacrifice are enough to move you in tears and sadness.

The plot is simple, nothing difficult, it entails a story of school sweethearts who are separated for years when a boy breaks the heart of a girl, he loves to death and disappear. But then as fate would have it, she meets her first love again and now moved on with her marriage happening anytime soon to one of their common friends, she discovered a heart breaking and life changing truth behind his departure and everything changes from that moment forward.

The cinematography, the classic JP style of yellow-hue colouring, editing, music and filming is poignant, sublime filled with sheer nostalgia.

The acting is what takes the cake, super calm, authentic and very warm. Both leads, are very subtle in their dialogue delivery and has embodied their character perfectly. First episode was enough for me to decide that quality is not going to drop and will never change.

I moved to tears with scenes that weren’t even sad, because each action of boy had sadness in it, his love for her was so strong that leaving her made it easy. Although leaving is never easy but you have to be strong enough to sacrifice when you know nothing good will come if you continue, but in doing so the only mistake a person does is that they decide for the other person also, they don’t ask their opinion and leave them hanging behind without any explanation.

Leaving someone for the sake of their happiness has never benefited the person who is left behind. It is not an act of selflessness, it is in fact a punishment bestowed on a person who is oblivious to why they are left behind.

I am hoping for a happy end, but the journey to whatever end has been written is profound, sublime and saudade.

Worth your bite!

It was absolutely great. It came this close to what I had imagined, but it is no less than fantastic.

I mean for a BL, the game has been up recently, with meaningful storylines, arcs and characters interactions. Bite Me, is one of the new series in streamline BL industry, that is not boring, usual and typical. There is not over the top music, infact it has one of the best background scores. Perhaps among top 10 in BL shows. I just loved it.

There is this sadness one can see in Aek eyes, but it is not traumatic sadness, it is kind of loneliness, and of unfulfilled dreams with life being directionless. He has this magical aura, that wherever he goes, your eyes are glued to him. He is simple, middle class country boy, who has a talent in cooking, a gift that runs in his genes. He can see smell and without making any effort he can create best food that your tastebuds would ever taste. However, he is tethered to his mother request of seeing him successful, rather following her footsteps of becoming a chef, although her mother doesn’t oppose his choice of pursuing a career in chef industry, she just wants to see him live a comfortable life. But as fate would have it, he is going to create magic with a help of a person, he is gonna fall hard.

Aue, an owner of newly opened restaurant, and runner-up of Chef Thailand, where Aek, make deliveries, noticed this young man who tells an ingredient in a dish made by him, without having it tasted. Aue, gets intrigued by his intuition and senses his talent for cooking and starts to peruse him.

The undeniable chemistry with Aue and Aek is gorgeous, they book look insanely good together. Aek looks at Aue, with these dreamy eyes that created this sizzling hot beam of light around them, that one can’t help but fall for both of them. Aue on the other hand, is kind and happy go person, a talented chef, falling for another talented chef. There process of food making in kitchen, and Aek learning from Aue, is truly is birth of their long-lasting love. Which I am looking forward to it.

The series doesn’t look so rough and tough, but as per usual storyline, there will be misunderstanding and hard time for the couple at some point in series later. I just hope they will be able to overcome all the hardships, they are going to face.

The side characters, the friends of Aek, are not at all loud, nosy and useless, they are subtle, supportive and like a normal friend. I love Gameboy, his appearance definitely added some weight to series, if not alot.

The last food based thing I watched was “The Hundred-Foot Journey”, I know BM will be nowhere near it, but I hope they show the food as much as they are going to show them falling for each other.

Everything else is great about this series, the production values, acting, camera work, editing, mixing, visual effects and cinematography. Looking forward with great passion. I hope it is truly a journey of “Bite Me”.

Nothing new, nothing fresh but still watchable!

I think Shin Ye Eun haven't learn anything from her previous project, the Cat drama, I mean, I almost died of frustration and there was nothing in that drama, no logic, no story and above all poor production. SYE choose this drama for reasons only she knows, but this series has same elements as the previous one - unrequited love, suffering, innocent female, stubborn male, poor second lead.

JTBC is best at producing romantic slow place dramas, I love their dreamy settings, use of Jeju Island, raining scenes and subtle interaction between leads. However, it has toxic environment more than it requires. Based on 2 episodes, and my experience, this drama is not going anywhere in terms of creativity and story. Two leads fighting over female lead, and viewers guessing who she will end up with is a trademark plot of Korean TV industry and then there is always feeling of immense sadness for poor second lead.

However, More Than Friends will still be addictive to many, reason? Isn't it obvious? People are more focused on idol boy OSW than the story itself. As long as this Idol boy chasing girl, whom he disregarded earlier and used her as a pawn to satisfy his own feelings only to reject her thrice, for his disbelief in love and dysfunctional family problems. I would slap that person so hard to make them come to senses and then move on with my life.

The production and camerawork of series is beautiful, just like Something In The Rain, cinematography, the raining scenes, and coldness of scenes, is kinda my favourite. There are moments coming to story, that will make female lead suffer more and it is yet to seen whom she would side with. I just hope there is no 2nd female lead. I want this between, ML-FL-2LD.

MTF is more than ok, but less than something interesting. It is a typical tale told thousand times made for demographic falls between 18-24.

Extraordinary tale of ordinary people!

I just can't express my feelings. I knew I would love it. Not just loved it, I literally consumed the first episode.

The opening scene scored on my heart. The Ballet performance was just breathtaking, for a non-dancer, he nailed every moment. You know Ballet needs momentum after fast movements, you must end each step and gesture in a slow motion and smoothly. And I specially paid attention to that and he hit all the moments rights. true hard work spoke there.

Regarding the plot, without revealing much, it is pretty much what is said in the synopsis of this page. The rawness this series holds, has a unique attraction to its audience. It can be your typical Korean drama, where usual tragic life, bitter and hurt Lee Chae Rok, trying his best to fight against all odds, and it can be very unique drama where hopes and dreams are born every minute. The Haraabuji, family is as toxic as the Chae Rok life is, the writer wrote the characters, keeping their connection alike while making their age gap 50 years apart.

This is very clear, that the Chae Rok is a reflection of Haraabuji and Harabuji past live is Chae Rok I love how they are mirror to each-other. I was captivated from the first scene to last, even though nothing much happened, but for a drama like this, it is perfect, like no mistake at all.

The friendship that is going to develop between them is going to heal their wounds, is going to make them achieve their dreams. Chae Rok is going to grow and will learn to how to dance on life. The gift that Haraabuji is going to give him, is larger than life. I just can't wait to see the rest fo drama.

It gives me the vibe of Do You Like Brahms, and also feels very similar to Light In Your Eyes and Goodbye My Friends. I watched this series with puppy eyes, in coming episodes, we are going to cry as people will try their best to crush their dreams, but one thing is for sure, Haraabuji is a gift for Chae Rok, he will know when time is gonna come.

A must watch series for the healing of your heart.

Coffee to Record Player and Tea to Sunset

A good old classic tale, that works in every season.

Would You Like a Cup of Coffee?, is majestically calm and beautiful. The tale seems told countless times, but feels new. The cafes in Korea is insanely cool, it is not wrong to say that Korea has one of the most exquisite cafes with heavenly decor and interior. And they seem to share the same aura, whether it is in busy Iteawon of Seoul or somewhere in Jeju alongside sea or even rooted deep in the streets of old town.

They all have one thing common, calmness and the light shinning through their big windows. I wasn't expecting much, and story seemed really simple, which it is, but the relationship weaved over coffee learning is going to be a joy ride for both actors. I am not a fan of coffee, but been drinking like water, I am a tea person and tea doesn't belong in cafe, it belongs on camp in a rough cattle burned on a coal, with sunset sweeping all the emotions, as you take a sip. And by tea I mean, milk tea, nit a tea leaves brew in hot water.

But I am equally fond of coffee, however I don't go to large lengths to find a good coffee shop, but I like having it, as if I am dying into endless emotions of the owner who made it. It is very hard to find people and cafes, who can actually blend emotions with coffee. This series just give me that, it is very plain, calm and connected to emotions, that I am really looking forward to it.

I am not going to dessapointed by it, because I know there is nothing wrong with series, this is just made for people like me to sit and watch and relax. I love the color scheme, golden, brown and copper - a perfect visiulazation to dive deep into thoughts, while having a coffee of your dreams - if that makes any sense.

Insanely Good and Sane...

I know people will say how can you judge the series based on first episode. But the truth is when it hits you right, you need to review anything.

First episode really hit me hard, it is a tale of bad-cop who is power hungry has hidden good hid in his heart, because of his poor background aiming to reach at top by kissing his higher-ups, however he ends up digging the very good buried in his heart to fight against the crimes of riches and real crazy people, but of-course with the help of someone that brought good him by showing the crazy side of himself.

RSY and K, I hope they are who I am think they are, and K is only the figment of his imagination and not real, otherwise it will be super boring, if he is just imagination then I am hooked, then I am really looking forward in the story, otherwise it is another Taxi Driver type story and other Devil Judge.

Our handsome Grim Reaper and Nine-Tailed Fix is same as ever, slim, long silky hair, and crazy... he hasn't changed a bit in last 5 years, since I get to know him. Wi Ha Joon on the other hand is a recent forced to be reckoned. He has been real good since his debut and step by step he is reaching where he used to be, I hope his success isn't overshadowed by the recent purge of Korean industry.

Really good first episodes, and as it is 12-episodic drama, it is definitely going to be good one.

"I have neither happiness nor unhappiness"

A frail happiness and joy are as dangerous as sadness itself. Unhappiness. There are all kinds of unhappy people in this world. I suppose it would be no exaggeration to say that the world is composed entirely of unhappy people. However here, the characters unhappiness stemmed entirely from their own vices, and they had no way of fighting anybody.

From first episode I can see the characters are not pure, and innocent. Their depression and oppression of time, has not forced them to become beast but they are not their best version either. They don’t convey that they have been wronged by people rather they record with devastating honesty, their every transgression of a human conduct which they can not fathom. Broken, scattered and unhealed in their lives, they are who they are from the beast that holds them.

The lead characters, Boo Jung and Kang Jae, are at the peak of their breakdown. Boo Jung is rather simple character, surrounded by the misery of her failures, failures to uphold the happiness that has made her weak. She wishes unhappiness for others, while dwelling in one herself. Do Yeon, was an excellent choice for this role, cannot imagine someone else in this role. Her tenacity and versatility lie in the comfort zone she has been showing us for past decades. And I for one never got bored seeing her in melancholy roles so often.

Joo Yeol, people will curse me perhaps, because I haven’t seen him in anything, not even - Reply series. But I have known him though his social media, and his activism. Dashing and looks of those you perhaps see in Milan and Paris walk shows, he is extremely remarkable to leave an impression of his presence. He sure did with this performance, even though it is just first episode. The business his character does in series, is the one I am not shocked at all, I would have imagined him nothing less but this kind of arc suits his character. Perhaps it is to show that how meaningless and directionless he is that when spreading joy of lust and happiness for someone else, he is completely empty inside when he is alone.

Virtue and vice are concepts invented by human beings, words for morality which human beings arbitrarily devise. Through such mirror, our leads see each other. Their interaction at this point is minimal. One who is not capable of love from a loss she is suffering, is going to receive from a vacuum of person who distributes it without even realizing he is being emptied.

The world, after all, is still a place of bottomless horror. It is by no means a place of childlike simplicity where everything could be settled by a simple then-and-there decision.

No such happiness exist that can liberate you from the unhappiness you are feeling. “Life for all its anguish is ours it belongs to no other.”

I didn’t realize I what I was watching, and one scene had me confused, maybe it was easy to understand for others, but I am dumb enough to rewind it too many times to understand what the conversation was about. A scene where, Boo Jung comes to clean some actress home, and Kang Jae was explaining how he was caught seeing by his client’s boyfriend’s wife going her home. It was overlapping with Boo Jung scenes, and I had a hard time realizing, that they were separate occasions. Dialogues and scenes misleading sometimes, giving us a true sense of foreseeable picture of what is coming our ways for future episodes.

When you are hurt by the world so much, you began to see the demons within humans. So, without hiding it through trickery, you start to work to express it. I hope those demons and that are still leashed inside them, do not get exhumed, rather their memories and the humanity they have lost – finds them in a better place. Because “Everything passes.”

An old tale of sci-fi world!

Based on 2 episodes and what folds next, it is safe to say that the plot is extremely simple. It is like Hollywood style script, that fell behind the hit the mark.

Story:
In a future dystopian world where people or their holograms / shape that requires some pills in their suitcases, are secretly sent back in time through illegal means to carry out missions to stop what causes the destruction. Some are sent back to have a normal life, mostly parents sending their children back. It is obvious that ML and his brother is a huge part of a pandora that sets the events for future. ML will join FL to stop what cause the destruction in future, fighting powerful secret organization, who is most probably seeking funding and technology from ML's company in secret. While fighting truth behind his brother disappearance he will encounter enemies residing in his company, most probably his best friend, who will turn on him, when ML will refuse to do illegal stuff. Outcasted and framed ML, together with FL, brother and restaurant guy form a team to stop all the "bad people". ML brother will eventually die in the end saving his brother.

Acting:
JSW is an amazing actor, there is no doubt. But he is not one for comedy roles. In the first episode he is shown guilt ridden, rich jerk who has a kind heart, but does not acknowledge it. A typical arc for a such characters. But it didn't suit him. May be in Stranger and other series he has played too may serious characters, that his image is imprinted on our minds. I do not understand why there is so much critique when it comes to PSH. She is always a victim of serious public scrutiny, just like Bae Suzy. I have not watcher her, except in Doctors, and she was quite good, plus she is insanely famous. Her acting no joke. I know Chae Jong Hyeop from a award-winning web-drama Rumor, he was a jerk in it, but he did extremely well. He is handsome hunk, and he is doing good, hope this show gives him boast.

Production Values:
Rumored to be most expensive series, it is sad to say it didn't live up-to its expectations. Set designs, vfx, editing, mixing, cinematography is just like an average series. Not like someone with budget they claim more than DOS. Fighting scenes, tech scenes, is not even high tech. Putting robots, big screens, advance computers does not make a series sci-fi. Hello, I mean, has someone seen Arrival, it was decade's best "sci-fi" film, and it did not included high tech.

I am not writing this review in a haste. But I did wanted to write after watching just 2 episodes that is it a very basic plot, with predictable things happening around. There wasn't much left to guess the story after watching first two episodes, I mean, yes, its not like I know the story, but the outline is pretty guessable. Having said this I do not hate the series, I scored it at 7.5. It may change if they really managed to surprised us with some serious and top-notch stuff for rest of the 14 episodes.

"I am an Seong Mi Do, the Influencer!" What? "Influenza" !!!

It has been a long time since I truly enjoyed the pilot episode. I absolutely loved the first episode of The One and Only.

It is indeed not a washed up plot. Also it felt new, raw and broken at the same time. It does not give you introduction of its characters and pushes you right away in the middle of a story, where its characters are already at the end of their lives, even though it just beginning of their story.

I could not find a single filler scene in first episode, may be because it is the first episode, but I highly doubt it is going be any less than its first episode in quality. The tone, the setting and and the pain of its characters is a reflection of what is heading towards the rest of the story.

I am a fan of AEJ, I have liked her since I first saw her. even though she in the industry for over 10 years, but not until 2018 she truly entered television medium. She is a theater actress and on that a musical one, so you can guess her range of emotions and ability to showcase a huge spectrum of roles and characters - she is not only a versatile actress but possesses an ability to channel her emotions through her characters to a great length to give them life. She did not disappoint here as well. A job well done, not less, no more, hits you hard sometime. What I had expected, she delivered and I am very very much satisfied. I have no doubt in Kim Kyung Nam that he wouldn't do justice to his character. After watching the episodes, I was right, he is too on a path to glory of his capability of doing something different. I hope this series brings him a good fortune.

I am so loving the other characters, and can't wait how ravel stories will be unraveled and how people of Ahumiti will come to heal each other before exiting this life. I never thought Pyo In Sook first day would be this eventful, and she would have soulmates so early on. But I guess they don't have time to know each other to gel well, jumping right into it is the only solution and I like that, sometimes introduction and pace is not important.

Her grandmother scenes are heartbreaking, why always it is like that when parents are shitty, it is grandma that has to take responsibility for their child crimes. This show is going to show a lot of blood boiling stories, but at the same will show how the people at the center of those stories living their last.

The trio and the one, is going to come together to heal each other and in the middle of dying a desire of living will take place. I just hope they stick to the story, and what shouldn't happen, must not happen. Otherwise the story will lose its meaning.

I fell in love with this series, I am sure you will too. Give it a chance, it is going to be roller coaster ride of tears and happiness, of course marinated with death.

With love they thrived in the darkest of their times!

First two episodes, had me in tears - the five siblings, carrying the burden of poverty, negligence and loss of their mother, with unhinged and gambling father… the eldest took everything on his thin and lean shoulders.

"When you hit rock bottom hard, there is no way but to go up!"

He gritted his teeth, clenched his fists, hid his pain and put a poker face to make a better fate for him and his four little siblings, who look up to him, every time - when they were hungry, when they needed clothes, when they needed washing, when they needed feeding, and when they needed to be saved by the cruel face of poverty.

He did it all, and he did so without complaining. To whom he could complain? No one.

I was looking forward to this series, and worried it wouldn’t be subbed on time, but thanks to the effort of subbers, VIKi and other people, who made this gem be able to watch. I am so glad I am watching it. Though much of it is yet to come to screen, but I know from the start that it is not going to be an easy journey as a viewer but will be a profound experience of storytelling extremely close to heart, and family oriented.

The Bond that these five siblings shares, or the one who grew apart from them, is unbelievable.

A must watch series for all!
