Your right about this being his first main role so he could just simply be nervous or hasn't figured his method out yet but, I actully do think its more of him portraying his charater. If you play the game you'd realize the game charater is super robotic and blunt, the actor is actually acting a lot less robotic then then game charater hes playing.

I’m glad someone else find that interesting tooo!!! I actually think its quite fun trying to spot all the similarities and trying to search for the little hints in which way the story is going. The differences are quite interesting as well, some that stood out to me how they switched Jaerim for Sohee, they changed ShinTae singing scenes for the “spider in your hair scene”, Shinwoo has a sister and was in an accident which resulted in the loss of their parents but in the drama they never mentioned a sister and Shinwoo’s parents are still alive, and what really surprised me is how they completely flipped Namgoong personality. Shinwoo’s route begins with them going to Karaoke and Taekyung being in awe of Shinwoo’s voice (in chapter 7 out of 19) and eventually gets him to become an idol while falling in love with him but that’s not the kind of route they are taking because it would’ve been to obviously who was endgame, so I’m excited to find out what’ll happen for them after karaoke :D

omggg yes i feel the sameee, i was always team shinwoo but i still really liked Daon i thought he was sweet and i was happy that he felt comfort in taekyung since he couldn't with anyone else but now i just want to slap him one good time like i get he going through some shii rn but still i feel like he's still being hella selfish.
I’ll be honest I’m 100% team Shinwoo but this is a total unbiased analysis. I honestly think Shinwoo and Taekyung are end game I was leaning towards that from the beginning but started doubting it especially with the Karoke scene because if you play the game when you get the the chapter where you choose your route if you choose Shinwoo he’ll ask Taekyung to go to Karaoke with him and ofc Taekyung says yes because that’s the route you chose so when in the drama when Taekyung slid Shinwoo hand off his I was disappointed and thought that this meant Daon was endgame but from the preview at the end of ep 12 Shinwoo asked again and Taekyung goes with him (and namgoong) which means that this is is the start of Taekyung feelings towards Shinwoo what really pushed this for me is when Taekyung felt his cheek after Shinwoo squished them (like he used to whenever Daon touched him) and when Daon pretty much gave up on him when Shinwoo said if you don’t go I will. This is completely unbiased bc I’m not trying to get anybody’s hopes up true I don’t particularly like Daon but that doesn’t mean I wish him bad therefore if the end up together it’s whatever but to many clues lead to Shinwoo and Daon just isn’t ready for a relationship, if you think I’m wrong please honestly let me know id love to hear why :)
