I don't recommend it;

It seems I was kind to give it a 3, who would have guessed the rating there is even worse?

Novel ending: ML and FL are Rulers; with three children. If my memory serves me right, Yan Xun is a villain and a tyrant; I don't recall anything else.

I have no problem with bad endings, but don't come at me with 'dreams/fantasies' or 'what ifs' of a possible imaginary happy ending, that's a slap in the face to the viewer.
Goodbye My Princess is a good example with a bad ending.

Another issue is that for sad scenes to work, I need to care about the characters. For example, they killed Li Ce, but so what? Who cared about him? He spent the whole arc chasing after Chu Qiao only to die at the hands of his brother Li Yan.

I repeat: want to make a sad ending? Then make it a really bad one, but don't show us how things could have been.

In the novel, the ending, in short, is the male and female protagonists as ruler, and they also have children. Meanwhile, in the series, what did we get? Nothing. To say she's innocent is an exaggeration, but of all the Rebirth characters, she was the only one I wanted to see where her character would go. But unfortunately for me, as if her terrible fate in 'Princess Agents' wasn't enough, they had to make her suffer even more in 'Rebirth'. Poor Chun'er.

this plot of him hiding his brother from FL is kind of nonsensical. No matter ML's argument, it still seems like a bad idea. He's making the poor girl suffer unnecessarily. What's the problem with being honest with her? He's sending her messages because he knows it's important. I don't believe that if he told her the truth, it would be a problem. He just needed to tell her everything; maybe that would be a reason for her to believe him and open up, but no, the screenwriter wants to drag this situation out, and I'm sure that when she finds out the truth, that he hid her brother, she'll be angry with him.

I caught up to episode 12 and... the script is a mess

Finally, we got a happy ending! I was quite worried when I started because it seemed like it would be a sad ending. Overall, it was an excellent drama.

For a drama of this type, it was good, but honestly, harems in the modern world are quite boring because the story doesn't go anywhere, and usually, he doesn't choose anyone.

The male protagonist is pathetic. The female protagonist is selfish.
I don't understand, the female protagonist chose to move on, chose her career, why stop halfway?
If the male protagonist had a minimum of self-respect, he would have ignored her and moved on with his life.

Bad, I don't recommend it

It seems I'll have to put up with the traitor and his lover for quite a while, since they're SML and SFL.
ML didn't give me a very good impression, and FL, well, I don't know what to say, I guess I'll just have to wait for more episodes.

There are only 2 MLs, one of whom is the traitor, It means that the others are secondary characters. Personally, I don't like it; I find that kind of plot boring.
It's already tiresome when they introduce love triangles, imagine three of them chasing after FL.
