[ EP 11 ]atp I'm like... bro, move on! 😭🙏 it's been like 10 years, she's said "NO" like a hundred times, things have ended, been made clear, are y'all kids?? ARE YOU CHILDREN? IS THIS A CHILD'S PLAY?also, the whole work team is unprofessional af. all they talk about is dating, whether they're driving, eating or working, it's a teen drama with a stupid love triangle (square here?) that never ends. they are SO repetitive and unprofessional. please, act like adults for once? and sy: act friendly, act harmless, act like nothing ever happened then ✨ snarky comment ✨no acknowledgement, no apology, no guilt, just passive aggressive remarks. I'm really curious, what worse could even happen?
earlier it was hard to watch and heavy but now, it's just lost the plot. get back.
Nope I wholeheartedly disagree with this . There is no excuse for bad behavior here. We all go through things.…
i am not justifying ill behaviour, which i haven't seen much of so far either. y'all need to stop assuming things. i am simply understanding a character. if you consume fiction with a "bad people vs good people" lense, you're missing out on nuance and depth.
btw i do know what you're saying, at times i felt very bitter towards her bc I've had a "best friend" too, who never told me anything "real" about her and was always jealous no matter how nice i was to her. but i think we're reacting with our own emotions to these characters, which often prevents us from looking at them objectively. we end up projecting our past traumas onto these characters.
Having "gone through so much" or having "it so hard" is not an excuse to treating people poorly…
you're taking this wrong, i am not justifying any of her behaviour. but that's how people are, they're products of their past and how they've treated. you could try to sugarcoat it but that's literally how we work. and she isn't a "bad person" either imo, (I'm on ep7 pls don't spoil lol) she is just a regular, very flawed person who is trying her best to get past it.
and i could also call eunjung a "bad person" because she kept pushing sy to be on good terms with her mother despite being told that her mother literally hates her guts and many more awful things she's done. and eunjung didn't even try to understand, just kept pushing sy, thinking everyone else also has a good mother. but i won't because that's because of how eunjung grew up, that's her perspective.
I'm not saying you should be this understanding of everyone who hurts you irl but this is fiction and we're looking at all characters objectively, so i think we should be objective about our judgements of them and not think in black and white. or you will not have a good time consuming fiction that doesn't have clear-cut morally "correct" characters which adhere to present day ethics. :)
this series also feels sooooo long to me TT probably bc i never watch slow stuff like melodramas, but we're not even at the 30s yet(assuming that's the next arc), i wonder how many more events are yet to happen :D
I don’t know if I will continue this on future because I don’t think I can handle SY right now. She is so…
hey hey hey, not exactly but I've had an envious "friendship" too, i get what you mean. but i also see how sy actually tried her best in keeping things nice and fair even though she couldn't open up to ej. your experiences are valid, I'm just pointing out that sy's character has a lot of nuance and isn't as evil as you'd feel bc of your past experiences. :)
so, sh said he "got swayed" by sy, do you think it was real or just an excuse to avoid revealing the secret?
while part of me thinks he made an excuse, those flashbacks of him with sy are really making me believe that he caught feelings. just vibes. kinda confused.
I watched episode 8 and I'm sorry but I can't bring myself to hate Sang Yeon. Yes, she did many wrong things,…
not yet on ep8 but i can't hate her either. she's had it so hard and she's trying her best. most of the conflicts so far have just been differences and misunderstandings so far. i kinda like her too.
She is the villain in this story. A villain who was in love in a complicated way. Hatred breeds Love. The jealousy…
well, I've just started so i can't say much but i pretty much know the direction this is going in. a story that's been told many times. "hatred breeds love," is an interesting idea but i would replace "love" with maybe "obsession," or some other word I can't think of yet. or maybe we can just look at "love," with a lense that doesn't have to be ethically/morally correct.
i already don't like sy. she's like a repellant shooing me away from this drama but I'll watch it for eun jung.
even though it's annoying how some people will wrong you and not even acknowledge it but when you do something back, they're such a victim, we all do it sometimes. but SHE, omg. from the get go. it is a real portrayal of how people who are averse to self reflection and have some kinda ego are so blind to their own faults.
i have so much to say. so. much. but i think if i begin writing, i won't be a able to stop, or put all my thoughts down. or not get personal.
but i loved this, so much. i am glad i decided to watch it.
earlier it was hard to watch and heavy but now, it's just lost the plot. get back.

EP7 QUESTION Y'ALL
this is pure suffering, wrapped in poetry.
please, please don't go where i think you're going. because so far, I've predicted some things. it's all such a cathartic experience to watch.
did remember how much of a treat it is so watch kim go eun act. she is just exceptional. can't look away from her.
damn i think she's hit at home and that's how they "communicate" ... oof
i already don't like sy. she's like a repellant shooing me away from this drama but I'll watch it for eun jung.
