Contrary to what some people imply this show is not a BL. And truthfully, as much as I love BLs I didn't miss it.
From the beginning I was sucked in to this show. The characters are fun, the story is full of unsual twists. It was sweet, funny, endearing and very engaging.
Our lives are full of meaningful, platonic relationships. This story is a wonderful tale of friendship, family and brotherhood. It shouldn't be de-valued because the brothers don't want to snog each other.
If I had one complaint it would be that Chu Yi is over the top in competence and curtesy. But his irreverant brother Beichen balances him out
I really loved this show. It was entertaining and enjoyable. Since this left things a bit unresolved I really hope there is a season 2.
