I have watched all the episodes to date and the first 2 twice.

I am thinking of her character change as a play on the concept of a candy character. She is now the flip side.

Knowing the future is such a strength for her to have and I thought about that as playing a role in her character change.

I am starting episode four now. I think it is in episode three where one of the side characters says Something to the Effect that he's glad he is normal. I think this was when they were talking about l Lighter. It is interesting to think about the symbolism of the lighter. He could set the world on fire. In a negative or positive way. I also think it might Be an expression of his restlessness.

In the first several episodes, we spend most of the time in theireUniversity days. It is the context for the rest of the show and I like how we had glimpses of what the future held. Of course now that I am rewatching. I can see how the scenes connect to the future. I just finished watching Episode four I think It was Where he inserts a virus into her computer. It was his way of defending himself. She had been implying he was not handing in his homework because he really wasn't that good at coding.

We see several instances of this in the first episodes So his poor social relationships are to some degree also about the other people in the interactions. I am not defending his behavior but trying to understand it. He is not the first gifted person to behave this way.

I have not been sure if I want to rewatch this show but after reading posts here I think I will. I did not read this show as a toxic relationship but so many others did. I am curious To more closely examine this show and think about my reactions and others.
