You may like it if you get into it knowing there's not going to be any teamwork between any of the leads(the synopsis, poster and initial episode are lil misleading).Its a one lead show aka Jung woo( i.e. he does the plotting, fighting, saving etc etc etc) Even though initially we are told there are 3 children( important) who were actually connected to past incident, emphasis is given to only 1 of them. Even steve had more to do in wonder Woman 1984 than rest of the main roles here lol
Ok I get it Jung woo is the hero. This is a one-man show with the other leads just getting bare minimum to do. Idk why Jae woong is even listed as main role, at this point his presence is only to make Jung woo appear more heroic! Jamie is not doing anything either other than recalling the past. Sheshh I wish this drama was by OCN!

One reason for this could be most historicals : plot and other conflicts, revolve around male characters and court politics. Female characters mostly are for aesthetic value... unless they are playing villain roles or the plot is female centric.
why the f do Kang and Yi soo get back together? I understand she had some mental issues but Kang that serial cheater! I don't get how he kept falling for FLs sister then FL without breaking off with Yi soo. Seeing them in the epilogue was pukeworthy. He kept placing his hand on women's shoulder like they were close buddies. Disturbing. Almost ruined this drama for me. Only saving grace was how the main couple balanced each other and silent monster team. End of rant.
When I saw a few clips on YT I thought they had no chemistry but decided to watch all epis because of the story. Glad I did. The gum couple is just so cute, loads of chemistry there. Wanted more of adorable Mak gae aka MGY. Overall 10/10 for me.
Special mention to our creepy af Jae ha. I wanted to facepalm on his behalf when he admits to "noona" that he became a doctor just because he wanted to have the same dream as her. Like wth thats not why you should choose that profession.

I know she is not obligated to love her half brother but the origin of her hatred is whats bothersome. She hates him not because he is standing in her way of becoming the heir, or he ill treats her. I think she has always treated him like that, ever since he was young when he did not understand why he was being disliked. He got hurt each time and finally started loving the negative attention. Ahh I hope they resolve it.
