I guess some viewers haven't watched enough dramas to know that there are grey main characters out there in dramaland. To me grey characters are more relatable and interesting. Just imagine if we're in the same position, what kind of actions would we take? Can't always watch dramas with rose colored lenses and should look into other character's pov.

This is a 40 episodes drama so the beginning is slow. Maybe watch few more and drop it if you don't like it.

On episode 4, when CXZ attended his mother's birthday banquet. Leon Lai's character was in a wheelchair.

So far, I'm really loving this drama. Their simple everyday couple life is refreshing. This is the simple couple moments that people want to see as the ending in costume dramas. Most of the time the endings are rushed or they're bad endings. And here we get plenty of slice of life moments. I think the pacing is fine. Slow burn romance is my cup of tea. The leads are doing an amazing job. 👏👏I'm sold on their chemistry and acting. 🔥💗 Their lines have a lot of double meanings and the slight comedy is a nice touch. CXZ has reached a crossroad, and we see how much he's struggling. The fear of losing her is real. The angst is about to come. I will get my tissues ready.
