had put this on hold a year ago and now I'm dropping it. cause the ML sucks so much

My review for both the seasons:I started watching this cause of the actors and cute clips of our leads on yt.This is boring for me, I guess I can't watch dramas with too much politics. the FL and ML were cute together, the FL was always smart. the ML was focused on his goal and he cared for the FL. The FLs mom sucked so much that I wanted to smack her. I cried so many times. It stretched out too much. it shouldn't have taken 50 episodes for the plot line to get resolved. then the next 6 episodes didn't do justice to the ending. The ending was a let down for me. I hoped that I watched though 50 episodes so I'd get some kind of satisfaction. The emperor, the empress and the consort were my happy pills. probably the reason I kept watching. so this is a 9/10 for me. it was a well written plot but it was boring and not what I had hoped when I started.

I think most people watched it for the actors. by episode 25, the ML is more present in the story and the mom fades in the background. but every now and then, the mom being horrible repeats itself. at episode 50, the mom gets better though :) haha so early uk. and yeah if you don't like political dramas, it still stays boring.

i hated the mother so much. I wouldve liked if our FL never forgave the mother, she doesn't deserve it. she gave shi reasons for not being patient to out FL, and she constantly belittled her. I'm pretty sure if she was supportive, the FL wouldn't have suffered so much. I liked what happened around episode 50. Made me so happy to see the mother like that.

I just finished watching it and if u can't watch it rn at ep 5, them by ep 30 you're gonna be crazy lol. it's so slow till the end. maybe skip and watch cause there's too much politics, very less romance and most of the time, I was crying cause it was too heart wrenching. and no it doesn't get better.

if it did, I would've rooted for her just a little and thought she wasn't a complete psycho.

even despite the changes, the ending was perfect. Definitely one of the top dramas this year. my rating is 9.5/10.

though can someone tell me what a adaptation actually means, that's gonna decide how pissed I am after this ends lol

okay so...I loved the webtoon so much. the plot was perfect there. the revenge was awesome too. by episode 15 I can definitely say...this is so not like the webtoon. but okay it's a adaptation ( which I think means a similar storyline but has some creative changes?). so yeah it's like any good old going back to the past revenge. I'm waiting for the last episode in hopes that it's not completely different I guess? fingers crossed. I do like some changes but the MLs crazy ex is not one of them. I'm watching this for our FL..she nailed it ngl. if it was any other actress, I mightve been angry and not followed it weekly at all.

not sure when I watched this(maybe 2 years back). I kinda remembered this a little, very little to be honest but I've given this a 9/10 rating. so gonna rewatch this since the reviews are so terrible.

I started watching this cause I had nothing else to watch. and that's my best decision ever. This is so freaking good.LOVE THISSS AHHH, I NEED NEED A S2.

I dont think I have the words to describe how much I loved this. literally screaming with joy right now. THIS IS THE PERFECT REINCARNATION DRAMA. It has everything and idk why I didn't know of this sooner. I absolutely adore this. Please watch this, you'll definitely love it. it doesn't drag unnecessarily. the romance is pretty nice. Bai Lu obvi has chemistry with everyone. and she's pretty smart. ALSO DID I MENTION, THIS IS AMAZING.

this is kinda boring..actually no this is quite quite quiteee boring. lol this stretched out...and it's literally so short. the ML undressing again and again was probably the only reason I kept going.

I'm on the 14th episode and the only reason I've reached this point cause I saw clips of spoilers. I've watched too many terrible dramas to think that this is a bad one though. so if I'm being honest without watching the last 2 eps, my rating rn is 8. This is my average rating for any drama that was cute and has a lil suspense. till episode 10, I truly loved the who is behind it all aspect. though I do think I could've had written a better plot twist( kinda predictable...lol def predictable) than the writers themselves. The how'd the parents due was kinda intriguing. the past part was kept short and simple, not bad. Oh yeah and obviously I liked god, I needed more from the god though, cause it was a fun character, 16 eps is a long long time, they could've done more.
