I loved his character in this too but it felt like the undermined his achievements in this drama. I remember them talking about how he was the top of his class and a genius and all of these things but we rarely got to see it. Maybe its because it was a case of him not caring for the recognition after living the life he did before being reincarnated.

That was my whole issue with it based on the summarys I read from the book and reviews about the book. The creators took liberties and tried to present the SML and FL relationship in a way that wasnt prevalent in the books. I know she has always loved ml but the fact that they made the series more about SML and FL rather than ML and FL didnt sit right with me.

Story of Kunning Palace spoiled me because I was expecting PWX to be somewhat similar to him but all he was was a lovesick puppy the whole drama🤣

No, but based on how they did the show youd think he was the ml. Imo although ml and fl were together it felt more like ml was a 2nd option for fl. It lasts all season too. Although she says she loves ml her actions also showed she loved 2nd ml too.

Trying so hard to watch this but I cant get into right now for some reason. I started watching when it premiered and loved it and held off on watching anymore after ep. 6 but everytime Ive tried I cant continue

Loved her in Jang Bori is Here. Im glad that she has done alot of other work.

4 months later Im back just rewatched a few episodes and Bi Dan is still the unanimous MVP of this show🤣

Loved everything about this. Everyone played their character so well. This was the perfect blend of romance, comedy, action, and drama. The COMEDY was so damn fun too. Jae Soo constantly mispronouncing phrases or not knowing certain words had me dying. I love how he went from her biggest haters to one of her biggest supporters. The chemistry is so great everyone had great chemistry with eachother which made it even better. Id recommend this to everyone.

Only sour spot for this drama is that LiLi ended up with SZZ.... The last episode annoyed me so much. Yi Xiao just introduced her to his daughter which is a step in the right direction, especially if the guy is a widow but then she breaks up because he wont commit to marriage after a few months of dating. All of a sudden in the last 2 episodes she starts showing interest in SZZ who she has zero chemistry with imo. She is trying to get drunk because SZZ is leaving and Yi Xiao is trying to help her by preventing her from drinking. They couldve atleast made it where him and his wife got a divorce and he ended up goingback to her because that scene made me dislike the forced pairing with SZZ more.

Im on ep. 5 right now and I love this. I always get ahead of myself but I can totally see them having kids and the son being like FL and the daughter being like the ML🤣

She looks younger and has a young personality and he can pull off a character with a mature personality so I dont think the age gap is a big deal.

Wished we wouldve gotten alot of scenes of FL with ML parents.....

Just finished and I dont understand how people got 2nd Lead Syndrome from this🤣 the 2nd ml was more annoying than anything for most of the series. He always has this stand offish attitude and when the ML gets successful he constantly tries to block ML and FL. B4 watching I thought the letters were important but most of it was made up or just letters him and the grandma wrote to make the FL feel better.

Yeah it made me dislike his character even more. Yi Xiao was still a great guy, he just was afraid to fall in love again imo.

Yeah, I wouldve preferred an open ending for her and Yi Xiao because and the other guy had zero chemistry and it seemed like they tried to force the whole noble guy role for him. When he punched Yi Xiao, it was completely unnecessary.🤣

I see why people got strong 2ndml syndrome from this. 50 minutes into ep.1 and the ML hasnt even shown up.🤣

She shouldnt have been trying to push it either. From his POV he has to consider his daughter as well and I feel like watching the person you love most die changes your perspective on a lot of things.

I think he would have eventually. She just didnt want to put in the work.🤣
