Its funny because she said she would have helped but he explained that if they got married and carried out the revenge her and her family wouldve been implicated too. I still didnt get why he pursued her knowing what he was going to do but someone explained to me that his original goal was to gather evidence until his "mom" died.

Here I am thinking Muzan has googly eyes because of the romance between the leads when he actually has googly eyes because he found out ML real identity🤣🤣🤣

I would suggest you to watch the revenge scene atleast it was a wonderfully shot sequence and the music in the back made it better.

I would say it was more open ended because the bad guysbdidnt get what they wanted and the good guys didnt defeat the bad guys and there were more questions left than answers.

They cut out alot of stuff from the books. I know in the books they find a cure and live a happy life together.

Id suggest picking it back up if you cant find another drama to watch. The first 10-15 episodes are kind of a drag but once FL and ML interact more and the story starts it gets alot better.

Story of Kunning Palace, I tell people to not watch it for the romance. The ml isnt like most ml. He is tip toing on a very thin line between being good and bad but the more of it you watch the more youd realize there is a method to his madness.

Love Like the Galaxy the first 15 or so episodes are meh but once they really get the ball rolling its great.

The Blood of Youth, there is little to no romance its just a great wuxia drama.

I dont even watch it for the romance. The ML is such a complex character that watching this for his story is the selling point he balances himself on a very thin line where at any moment he can cross it and when he talks about himself he doesnt even see himself a human sometimes. I think the use of the fl is that we see him through her eyes throught the drama. In the end he is just a boy who had no choice but to carry the burden of the world on his shoulder and choose to be loyal or a traitor.

I loved his character in this too but it felt like the undermined his achievements in this drama. I remember them talking about how he was the top of his class and a genius and all of these things but we rarely got to see it. Maybe its because it was a case of him not caring for the recognition after living the life he did before being reincarnated.

That was my whole issue with it based on the summarys I read from the book and reviews about the book. The creators took liberties and tried to present the SML and FL relationship in a way that wasnt prevalent in the books. I know she has always loved ml but the fact that they made the series more about SML and FL rather than ML and FL didnt sit right with me.

Story of Kunning Palace spoiled me because I was expecting PWX to be somewhat similar to him but all he was was a lovesick puppy the whole drama🤣
