LBY doesn't want to change her. Cheng Shao Shang is very immature. This character is being shallow and predictable. If it was to be the story of an ordinary 16 year old girl she shouldn't even do a series. What's interesting about a series is being something different from the ordinary. Like for example Story of Ming Lan who spends most of the series with 14 and 16 years old is very mature and intelligent person. I know it's not good to compare, but I was disappointed with Cheng Shao Shang. Because a character has to be complex and evolve. She was interesting, smarter and more critical before entering the palace. It seems she has become a child in the palace. She doesn't look like the same girl who struggled to survive in a home without her parents and who was hated by her grandmother and aunt. She's just appearing like a spoiled teenager.

I think still didn't finished. The last one episode showed some scenes in the future. Don't have second season?
