Just watched episode 2 on wetv! Damn, this episode is SOOOO GOOD! I like 1st episode but this one is also better! It’s more serious than the previous one and more Gu centric. I really loved the portrait of all his struggles , and i was soooo deeply touched in the highest peak of his despair/doubts/insecurities. As usual Xiao Zhan confirms himself as the great actor he is 😍

Instead i really love the relationship between lzx and his father…they are super funny and they really love each others even if in front of each other they like to argue ..i feel the struggle of that mother with basically 2 children in her house 🤣 i love that family

I have been waiting for this drama for a long time and today it doesn't seem true that it has finally arrived! Although romcom is not one of my favorite genres, I have always been curious about this collaboration between Xiao Zhan and Yang Zi. i saw the first episode with english subs on wetv. Although the drama was shot almost 3 years ago, I was amazed to see that it doesn't look outdated at all, but it feels like it was finished shooting yesterday! The production is very good indeed. In the first episode we see the two protagonists meet and still little is revealed about them. the more than 45 minutes pleasantly pass alternating more serious moments and really funny moments! even the secondary characters seem to give important insights into the story. I am really fascinated by the character of Gu Wei and can't wait to get to know him better! I'm very curious and excited about the next episode
Wow! I’m really looking forward for this! It seems really a serious and good project, and the few we know about the plot seems already interesting, i cannot wait to know more! Cast is really good! And i’m so excited to watch beijing with a 70s setting! Cannot wait to know the new Xiao Zhan ‘s character! His last portrait as Gu Yiye in Ace was so amazing!

I think you should watch the drama before to judge other people. After, if you’ll like this character, you can come back here to explain your points and what you like about him. But really judge the others without watching and knowing the main issue (scrip about the chara, acting and so on) it’s a bit inappropriate, reducing all people as fans of another actor and imply they cannot have taste or have reasoned on the show it’s not right! I hope you’ll watch the drama, enjoy it and form your own persona opinion about the plot and the characters :)
