Finished same time with China, it was an amazing journey!
Visual fest, involving plot full of mysteries, great acting and characters, no wonder it exploded into a phenomenon!
I really like this kind of revenge stories and lozh kept me glued to the screen. All characters have their highlights and are well developed but the story is totally carried by Zang Hai! Damn, what an amazing performance from Xiao Zhan 🤩
There are scenes which are still impressed in my mind and heart!
I cannot wait to have enough time to rewatch it properly

Audience would like, platform would like (mooooney) but main producer and directors are sceptic because revenge arc is ended with this one and as Zhang Ben (main producer) said in first place, they need to bring a valid scrip with the same quality of the first one, and this is not so easy and immediate ><

I agree with you! This is basically the best cdrama of last decade and deserves an higher score, but unfortunately malicious people are always ready to downrate just because they are jealous

I have watched both and enjoyed both, but legend of zang hai is better!
Firstly in jol male lead is like a superman but with no real powers, every woman falls for him, and the story is all carried by the secondary characters (some are really really good)
In Lozh the show is totally carried by the male lead, there are many characters, some have really few screentime but really well developed, so even the last secondary role is interesting and has their shining moment, it’s like the main lead has not feAr to be overshadowed and in fact it doesn’t happen.
Zang Hai is not a superman, he is really really intelligent and manipulative but has his flaws and grows up during the story making him really human and easy to empathize with him (while you don’t feel anything for jol main lead and you are lead by secondary characters)
Lozh has zero boring moments, jol has some (maybe also because it’s 56 episode)
Anyway both are interesting shows to watch, and different in their kind. Lozh is revenge and court intrigues theme, jol is not and has different elements so i don’t find even the point to compare then (i’m talking about jol1, jol2 doesn’t exist for me)

I give you a simple example: if i sell a black product i state it’s black so who is interested in black can enjoy it, but if i promote a black product for blue, people interested in black won’t consider the product, and people interested in blue will feel scammed and will give bad reviews

Well, take it easy because there are for real people who know more tips, who knows the language and the socials where to take the infos, and stating the truth about a product is the good way to promote 🤷‍♀️

But reading the comment section i see that many people has mislead this drama, many are here for romance, i’m sorry to disappoint you but this is not a romance drama and romance line is really feeble. This drama is adventure, but especially is the journey of Zang Hai (the main character played by Xiao Zhan) and his path in the years to seek revenge, court schemes and Zang Hai’s development are the main points.
If you are here for a romance drama, i’m sorry for you but you will be disappointed
Cannot wait for this Machiavellian drama, my favorite genre 🤩 and i’m sure Xiao Zhan will give us a new amazing and iconic performance! And knowing Zheng Xiaolong, I’m sure that any character will move around Zang Hai, will be really interesting
