I understand there were so many scenes that evoked discomfort but I still would like to give this show a 10 for being able to introduce as many conflict as possible mimicking the realities of found families— why they are the way they are, the effects of unresolved trauma to a child, consequences of poor decisions, etc.
Yes, they all needed therapy; yes, the 9-year gap was uncomfortable, but any average Asian household can relate. Not everyone has access to therapies especially if the persons involved are in denial, and that not everyone can afford to travel leisurely. Some are just getting by though there are some who may be able to afford it but are just waiting for the other party to return whenever they are truly ready.
This show was so relatable and comforting that I can’t help but recommend it to anyone who needs to heal a part of them vicariously through the characters.
I love him! There are many who had a hard time moving on with him in their heads 😂
thank you!! will be checking these soon. currently obsessed with Liu Yuning after watching The Prisoner of Beauty. These c-drama actors are really good!
Just finished. Videos spoiled the ending for me but I still wasn’t prepared for how each moment unfolded. I CRIED SO HARD 😭😭😭😭
Never have I been this invested in a historical drama in years. Made me go back to this genre that I love so much. Thank you, TPOB!
And I would also like to say how amazing the character designs were on Liu Yuning (ML) and Song Zuer (FL). When the show started, it was really obvious that they were young (less than 20yo) and as the show progressed, their bodies also matured along with their character. In the later episodes, you can see the ML having very broad shoulders and muscular appearance, the neckline was just so different compared to the earlier episodes. Manman also appeared to have put on weight. I really liked how believable they looked.
What I love as well, was how equally captivating the other characters were. The story did not mainly focus on the main couple. It made us fall in love with the people they love and that to me is just beautiful.

yes!! I almost cried 😭 it had a different kick in me. like my heart was getting wrung. I need to see more of his performances. Plus he’s good in variety shows too, apparently.
I really love this genre and I’m to note that this has been a very heartwarming show! The couples are surprisingly good together too. Love every second of it!
Best drama to have arrived in my life this season. Grateful that this came in just when I badly missed The Trauma Code. It was the perfect series and balm to my wound.
Just read that ksh agency admitted the naked guy washing dishes is him. Loll and there they were denying everything…
KSH and GM never denied dating in the past, specifically summer 2019-fall 2020. Last year’s denial was for the “rumors that they were dating currently”. Last week’s denial was about him dating her when she was a minor/from 2015-2021 and that she pressured him to pay her debt. He also denied going to her family home when she was a minor but never denied going to her apartment that she purchased when she was an adult (where the photo washing dishes was taken).

OMG they were adorable. I admit, however, that I spent the first half of this drama wondering why Eun Ho and Soo…
She got friendzoned soooooo bad. I guess it was blessing in disguise as it made her wait for her own knight in shining armor. Plus she could finally live in luxury (it’s implied that his Dad will be supportive moving forward) as she deserves it so much for being the best human being in the series!

I hope you give this show a chance. I have been rewatching it for the third time now and I find it loving it even more.

S2, please come soonerrrr.
I hope there’d be more occupational dramas with zero romance.
