Cant help but to spoil.
Was looking for a historical drama and I stumbled on this gem. I instantly had a feeling that I had seen Richard Li somewhere. Turns out it was in MDB earlier in the month. From what I've seen, he seems to have great chemistry with his FL.This drama is not one to watch if you are a happy ending kind of person. I spent a few nights after watching this, trying to figure out if there was a way for it to end happily. Nope.
I actually cried at the end. The emotions of the leads just had me tearing up. I normally hate these sad ending dramas, but I do not regret watching this one.
My favorite scene...... when he is with her in the room, having his way, whilst the emperor is outside the door, begging to come in.
Its a good watch. Great acting. Great story.

Cute short precise.
Refreshing. Real actual crimes that we see in our daily lives. This shows a side to Chinese law that most people are not familiar with. I like that they don’t drag the cases. Its all investigated and dealt with within a reasonable time limit. The Prosecutor duo is cute, not bad acting. They bring a comedic relief element to an otherwise too serious case file. My only negative opinion is some of the cases were not covered properly, more like glazed over to get to a verdict.A good watch for a mini drama. And a good ost too.

This is what a mini drama should be.
A clean and clear script of palace intrigue, re-incarnation and the ultimate revenge!Lately I have stumbled across mini dramas. 20 or so episodes of 3-7min each. Eventually someone puts them all together to make a movie version. It's a good thought but its ultimately botched because we have to depend on the person editing and their perspective of what scenes are relevant to the storyline. Not a good idea.
Anyway, back to this review.
This movie was the perfect version of what a mini drama should be like. Even the flashbacks made sense. The characters actions and conversations made sense. Great continuation without overwhelming the audience.
It might not seem fare to compare this movie to the mini dramas and I'm not. I'm just saying this movie was great and can be mistaken for the mini dramas.
The ending was timely, not dragged on like other historical dramas. Perfect for back to basic drama watching. High quality set, costume, actors and plot. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family and even newcomers to the Cdrama world.
P.S I watched it on YouTube and the tittle there is "The Queen's Revenge".

Good Luck!
A cute short drama to maybe watch when seriously bored.Plot- High school classmates Ning Sui and Gu Shen meet later as adults after a time apart. With Gu Shen being the stereotype ML, successful professionally and financially but awkward, traumatized and closed off socially. Ning Sui being the stereotype FL, cute, feisty, working her way up the ladder, tries not acknowledging her feelings for ML which she eventually does just like a lightbulb switch in her head.
Contractual marriage theme is one of my favorite storylines in the drama world. There will be always hits and misses. A Love Journal was more than a miss. It was completely the wrong coordinates; trajectory was the opposite direction, maybe even the wrong planet.
I just can't fathom what it would take for all that staff, cast and crew to air this calamity. It's quite obvious that the main couple and even their supports are all very green, not much experience. I honestly feel like they all watched other tv dramas with a similar script and then tried to imitate that instead. It doesn't matter how many steamy kiss scenes you add to it.
What I despise the most is a drama that has a tremendous lack of logic on top of too many loopholes in their storyline. It gives me a headache. I know it's not supposed to be an award-winning drama but if you want people to actually watch it then you actually have to provide tv that people would actually want to watch.
Being a mini drama should not be an excuse or a reason as to why a drama is bad. Rewatch Value - 0.0/10.

When you can tell it's a mess, but you keep watching anyway...
I struggled with this drama. What's disappointing is 2015 was actually a good year of dramas. What were these people on? Seriously. It was all toxic storylines till the end. And the acting...... Yan Lang was better than a lot of the adults. Drunken night with your friend's boyfriend. Who is the father of the kid? I missed that part somehow. The FL was just a disaster. The 2FL was pure psycho, which is natural. But Harwick, as great of an actor he is, I really don't know what he was supposed to be doing in this drama unless maybe to add some buzz to the poor casting.
And finally, they didn't even handle the ending properly. I would recommend watching it as a teaching method of what not to produce for tv.

Unnecessary cliffhanger.
Just a month ago I watched for the first time ever Youth With You. So when I saw ML I knew I had seen him somewhere. He is older now, a bit more manly but with that boyish charm. Acting wise, he is still a long way away. And a pet peeve of mine - when couples can't kiss. I'm sure I'm not the only who appreciates a good kiss scene in a drama. ML needs more practice. The story surprisingly was engaging though a bit familiar. Like I've seen a similar drama or two use this premise. Disappointed with the ending. A lot of questions are never answered. Leaving us viewers with wild imaginations. Hope there is a season 2 or even a movie version but with complete story lines. Not on my re-watch list but I don't regret watching.

A wonderful dose of romance, action and comedy!
I have to say - the ML blew me away. His intense look, that smile when he is relaxed, the action scenes. The chemistry between the 2 leads is amazing. They have this way of looking at each other and you can just tell what they are thinking. The steamy scenes are not that bad either.2ML was absolutely comedic relief though in the end there it got a little bit too crazy.
I'm still looking for the OST, i need that for my collection.
My only disappointment was just with the ending. I felt it was a bit rushed or is it just me who wanted to see more of this couple.
Overall, cute drama, worth the watch and even a re-watch on a rainy day.

To cleanse the palette.....
A cute coming of age movie not to take too seriously. I watched this after I had just finished a 45-episode intense drama. So as the headline states......it cleaned my mental palette. The actors all seem to be rookies, don't expect a Golden Rooster performance. I watched till the end though. The production value isn't anything fancy either. But an hour later after I had finished this drama, I started to reflect on my high school days and wondering if I could change anything. So not necessarily a waste of time to watch. But not on my
re-watch list.
