Drama digger
Watched many dramas in my life, none got me hooked like this one.BELIEVE ME! IT’S THAT GOOD
I can’t even say that the drama is amazing, it would be to little for it. I’m not the type that rewatches a drama, yet this is one is a must to rewatch, i still can’t believe that i have ignored this drama for such along time thinking that it is overrated. So, please don’t do the same mistake that i did and watch it, you won’t regret it.The story is amazing and all the scenes make sense ( there are some dramas that are full of stupid scenes and ridiculous…stuff, etc ) the acting is insane and convincing.
I really enjoyed this drama it was beyond my expectations and you can tell that everyone worked so hard to make this grate.

This may not be a popular opinion
I’m sorry to say this to all the fans of this drama but there has to be at least one person who agrees.What i liked about this drama:
1. Only the begging ( manly their childhood story and how close they where with each other) it was nice seeing them so close and protective with each other.
What I disliked :
1. Why would they make the so like brothers of this girl like her romantically ( it made me cringe a lot that I couldn’t continue, they literally grew up together shared their secrets and knew everything about each other and this guy just liked his (not blood related sister), he said “ yup ima fall in love with her at 6~8 years old and ima keep loving her till the end of my life”. Umm, excuse me are u in ur right mind, you’ve known her since you were a toddler and liked her your whole life while also playing the role of the elder brother? That a no for me)
2. The actors (specially the tall guy that likes the girl first aka Ling Xiao aka Song WeiLong) did not like his acting (sorry) he was so bad to the point where i had to skip his parts. But I'm sure he can improve ( i know that he didn’t receive any acting learning )
3. It’s way to long for such a basic story.
Again I'm sorry if someone got offended but i felt like someone had to say something , because there are way better Chinese drama without that much of cringe, great acting and a good quality drama.

An unexpected surprise
These days i’ve been watching a lot of Chinese movies, some are good and some are okay, but none of them was great! But this one! This was is different, this movie was AMAZING.It really has a wonderful and a meaningful story that u can’t help but relate to, it really makes u part of the movie, as u get sad, happy, or anxious with them and only hoping success and happiness for them.
I would say that the very beginning was not as interesting, but after that u won’t even feel time as u just keep enjoying it.
I really recommend it for whoever is looking for a good laugh AND a good cry. The story is indeed very meaningful, and the acting was on point, and it is a story that just keeps getting better so don’t miss such a gem.
P.S. the movie has a credit scene which really completes the movie beautifully.

An honest review
I believe that this drama is not bad, but not so good either. It’s more like a drama where you just want to watch something and anything.To me it had some real major issues in it (u can avoid them if u try). Which r the story line (plot) and how they filmed it.
For the first part i just couldn’t feel any depth in the story, they didn’t really give the characters a great backstory to feel and understand their emotions better. Also the plot wasn’t smooth, many scenes were full of nonsense and didn’t make sense to me, and the just didn’t flow into each other, u would just feel like u don’t know y this is happening in the first place.
For the second part the somewhat filmed it like an Indian drama, and it felt really like it was a 2000s drama although it is only recent when they filmed it.
I really liked how they portrayed the sweets in this drama, they gave a very nice view to something not all people would think of every day or never, but yeah it was a really nice thing to include.
And that’s all, so if u just want to watch something for fun u can watch it, but if ur looking for a good story I wouldn’t really recommend.
