he loves her but he is too scheming and manipulative. He gambles around her love for him. she is just a part of his plan.. she is gullible that she falls for his manipulation every time and realises it too late.
Song Yuzhi is better.. righteous and loves her too. doesn’t trick her. she obviously won’t end up with him.. but he is a better match.
oh also, in ep 25 i think, how did the master qi and zhao's parents knew that qingyan is in her room?
