It's the best of rom-com dramas
I will just say that it is realllllllllllyyyyyyyyy good. Ever since it came out,i wanted to watch it but because of love alarm i didn't really want to see any "emotionally constipated" acting. They did her bad in that show but i watched this show now and the actress did an exceptional job.The story is really good.
The acting, the twists,the confusion and the ending was wow.
To me it was one of the best rom-com dramas if not best. And even out the rom-com category,it is very good.
Loved it!
All the actors, really loved and hated them in the drama so how good they have done is wow.
In reality i respect everyone and am not delusional enough to hate them off screen 😂

The action drama showed only a glimpse of love but that glimpse causes a hurricane in your heart.
The 1st scene is easily forgotten and that's just how it always is when people make movies or dramas like that. The story,the action, the chemistry and Go Hae ri and Cha Dal geon always being together is what made the drama next level. The action and real life situation,the reality, the dumbness and smartness in the right proportions made the drama much more believable. Not everyone can avenge their loved ones but this is a story about someone who is capable but in the end realises,just how helpless he and she (both) are. They give up what they could have had just for the other person. The ending breaks my heart as to how their lives turned out but them still working for that cause and the other person being the deriving force for that swells my heart and pains it at the same time to some other level. I understand and love their decisions ,it's just the pain of separation that breaks my heart just like theirs is broken.There was supposed to be 2nd season but it was not greenlit even when s1 was made and then covid and schedules but even then does everyone really get everything they want in life? some turn extreme and that's what they chose for themselves and the one they loved. He didn't kill when he could've just to save her and she became part of the unjust world to avenge his death. Doing the same thing on the very opposite sides of the same world. Their love in the end scene broke and patched my heart and it will keep happening until i ever forget about this show and it will never happen.
I wish there were a script to s2 which i could read though, even if it makes or breaks my heart.
Would not give this show any less rating than 10.

The beauty of love.
The story was so lovely that it took me only 10 minutes to fall in love with it. The story, the actors, the acting, the plot and everything else was superb. I would recommend the movie to anyone who wants to watch something that has action , tragic , romantic and everything because this movie has it all. Also, don't forget to watch the post credit scene. I think the movie shows an unbreakable pattern so you don't find the plot to be lacking in any way which leaves you wanting more and more which in-turn increases the re-watch value of the movie highly.Was this review helpful to you?

The movie has a lot of hidden or misunderstood plot in my view which is why people didn't like it.
The whole thing comes down to the fact that Mantis was superior(he and boksoon's conversation shows), he was strong(his trainer tells him to fight better) and he does and defeats him, he knows jaeyi tried to use him but got stuck in a mess so he does protect her.Jaeyi planned to use Mantis and the businessman but her partner throws her in direct line of fire and she is seen crying portraying her vulnerability. She did try but failed and at the end Mantis let's her use him and we see him calling her to tell her about the plan(that he will fight with her not against her). He doesn't get to tell her but he does what he wanted.
Jaeyi planned because she knew she couldn't fight Dokgo or Mantis. But plan failed and Mantis helped her(he even loses and releases the video on purpose so she can get what she wants, because neither the guy who captured the video nor jaeyi release it. it was Mantis who did that) and walked away.
Mantis represented old school romanticised assassin and jaeyi represented modern cuttthroat corporate assassin.
She got what she wanted,i.e. every powerful person out of her way (Because Mantis knowingly let her use him or she would've died fighting dokgo).
She felt inferior to him but he loved her. So she got everything and he didn't have to see her die.
I even feel that if they had shown Mantis fight then none of the viewers or the characters of the movie would've believed it. He created a doubt and then lost so Jaeyi got credibility.
But nonetheless, i would've loved to see him fight.
Most favorite part : Conversation between Lee Han ul and Gil Bok soon. When she says "You're supposed to / You always receive a blood stained knife from your closest ones"

The drama is worth the watch. Cliche,Yes. Bad,No. Definitely Good.
I personally liked the drama for the story,the romance,the emotions and all. I feel like the time for romantic involvement was a little less but the ml and fl clash up a lot so that compensates for it in a funny sense. People will call a drama lomg if it has 16 episodes and can be done in 12 or 14 and this one was exactly that but that wasn't the issue here so a new problem! It didn't feel good and this and that. I don't think the drama was based on that kind of angst,not every kdrama is a angst,thriller,suspense,romance etc. It was different from the cliche of villains being too smart,sometimes villains are dumb. And most people in this drama were emotion-wise involved so that part is covered well. And about the ml being angry with the fl, it wasn't justified as it is a company setting but his feeling of being betrayed was completely justified but people are outright calling his ego? What ego?He was hurt and what he did was wrong but there was no ego in my opinion. The part about regaining memories? I think he keeps remembering things slowly but you just don't act on it because it doesn't make sense for you,he remembered everything because that momemt in jeju was the most important to him,most impactful,the kiss was impactful. That's why he remembered everything not because of a dress colour. And for one, the ml is shown smart with good intuition from the start so why do people have such a problem with him being able to solve his problems?Among other things ,the only thing that bothers me the most is that the chairman slapped the employee? can you do that? like what? But genuinely i don't feel like the ml did something other than getting angry and when his actions led to bad outcome(which he didn't think would happen normally) he took responsibility of it and became rational. Was in love with her before he thought she was married so couldn't be with her but to protect her, was ready to get married fast. I feel like the story had a lot of potential and that it was actually good. If it really disappoints you then you.were totally looking for a drama with a particular cliche.
