there is always chance for progress, if yuxi acts better in Meng Xing Chang An ,I and certainly many others will have no objection about her in this drama. the act of an actor can't satisfy everyone so it is natural that many say she isn't par with Cheng yi , as I heard some say the same about Cheng yi, saying he only knows to spit blood and act miserable and bla bla. personally I have a hard time praising dramas and actors since it is too long since I started to watch dramas and have seen many great acts, my point is current level of yuxi's acting couldn't satisfy me, but I'm not unrealistic to think Cheng Yi should only play with YBY, but since I have seen him match so well with her, my expectations for his partner naturally is higher since I know how well he can act. anyhow I respect your opinion of liking yuxi's acting. we all watch for a good time anyway

a pity it was a once CP chance, as YBY might leave the trash company and the only way ever for them to be in another drama again is if Cheng Yi leave too after he gets famous enough, like yang yang , yang mi , yifeng and others. in the mean time we can only support his works so he won't fell back in his fame.

well although I love cheng yi and this book both , and think cheng yi will do splendid if play, I'm relived if he don't! the role is too risky right now

apparently the IP of drama has been sold to Huanrui. so it is highly possible that Cheng Yi is one of the main leads as for Huo minghao , there is still doubts

I read it too, and I like it a lot and want it to be a live drama but if h&r owns it, there is a rumor that they push it to cheng yi and his co-star in lost tomb.many book fans are against it and say cheng yi is not suitable for either main leads. But h&r has certain reputation and I'm mostly worried for cheng yi. So I want to know if it is true

those who call others 'petty' , don't realize that their own behavior is also petty. attacking others like children just because they don't agree with them or bringing other actress down to prove a wrong point has been a habit since long ago. it is obvious that the whole mess between YBY and CY was because of three factors. 1)interviewer that asked them to play a scene in reality ,2) Fans who over reacted for it,3)company that took extreme measures and in return harm CY, and again FANS. in this process both YBY and CY are the only victims and blameless, yet FANS of two actors take turns to blame each actors, bringing them down, questioning their talent and call others 'petty' and saying the two had no chemistry! it is actually funny because the whole mess of CP fans was because of out of chart chemistry :)))) anyhow nothing is officially announced and whoever is the FL, I will watch for CY.

I heard the thai version would release uncut, but It hasn't been shown yet. the korean version will be the 59 eps.

their drama is perfect but huanrui has the habit of using his own actors and actress and right know there are speculations (rumors) about choosing Cheng Yi for one of the roles and while I love him and his acting, this drama in particular can be really risky for him because there are a lot of expectations and many book fans are against him playing and saying he doesn't match the role. he might get once again in trouble because of the company! I really hope Huanrui owning this script is just baseless rumor... but many sites confirm it and I don't know

it is more complicated than that, Hao chen was with xuanji till she grows up, and has a certain influence on her, true. but she doesn't have her 6 senses and to those she trust, she trusts completely, even so, it isn't that she doesn't have her own judgment but it depends on your taste in drama too. if you don't like it from early... it is possible to not like it later

I don't understand why the talks lead to YBY and Cheng YI's trauma, but I do know that even if the main lead wasn't Cheng Yi (though I will watch this drama for him) I still wouldn't want Zhang Yuxi as female lead because I saw her other dramas and I don't know if it is because of the characters she is given or her lack of skill in that matter, I still didn't like her actings, she can't convey the feeling of traumatized in L&R and comes out as annoying (which she shouldn't) and in intense love I dropped the drama at ep 1! I still hope she can play a better role in Meng Xing Chang An so I can have a better feeling of her in this drama
