Wow, Ep 7 really tug at our heartstrings. YW can't bring himself to harm YH after thinking about their happy memories together which leads to an attempt of suicide, but thanks to his aunt's intuition to know that something was going on, he was saved. Him saying it's not the usual hospital is making me think that he got put in a psychiatric hospital to help him get better. He had to take drugs to try to forget YH, but he just can't, he still misses him no matter what.
And then, YH is there knocking on the window (How the heck does he know where he is, does he have a tracking device on him or something? Lol, But I'm not complaining, come get your baby who misses you). They have a heartfelt reunion and plans to go to the beach. But before that, the HOTEL. They have a heart to heart conversation, and I think it's pretty important, since it's actually the first time we see YH telling YW about his inner feelings and thoughts, and he has his own insecurities as well, worrying that YW would be driven away because of him. It was kind of like a love confession, him telling YW all the parts he likes about him. It also looks like YH ran away from his family to be able to be with YW.
They both love and care for each other so much that they would give up anything for the other person. YW - Sacrificing his life to save YH, so he doesn't harm him. YH - Runs away from his family and gives up on being an idol to stay by YW's side, to let him see colors.
Can't wait for the final ep!
Extra Fact: YH saying "The same expression I see on K-pop trainees when they leave the agency." also has a double meaning since Hyunjun / Hwall, the actor who's playing YH was a former idol.
I can't be the only one who sees that it's rated R for "nudity & violence" ? anyways, waiting on the last 2 eps…
Nope, I see it too. But I think the R is there because it contains LGBT+ content which is still not widely accepted in S. Korea yet, since Korea is a very conservative country. But they're doing great, they're taking slow steps into acceptance with all of these new K-BLs.
I'm 100% sure there won't be any nudity, even with straight K-dramas, there's hardly any nudity content, since Korea is such a conservative country.
For violence, there probably isn't any shown, but there is some disturbing content and news about probes killing monos in the drama, which I'm not sure if that counts.
istg if the kiss scene is something like- touch each other's lips then the scene freezes or sum I'M RIOTING LMAO
Haha, true. But S. Korea is too conservative for now, I don't expect a full makeout kiss scene tbh(especially when one of the lead actors is a former idol), but it would be nice if they maybe puckered their lips for the kiss instead of just touching lips.
But either way, if there's a kiss, I'm fine with anything. I'm already happy that S. Korea is starting to make BLs. Regardless of whether of not there's a kiss, or how the kiss scene is, I'm just glad they're becoming more comfortable showing LGBT+ content.
Does anyone know why the Mono counterparts are called "Probes"? Like I get "mono" since they are only able to…
In real life, a probe is a tool that is used to examine and explore something (usually a wound), and probing is the action of looking or examining something closely.
If we take those into context, I think probes are "used by" (or relied on by) monos to be able to examine and explore the world in color, and that (Color Rush) occurs when the probe and mono looks at each other's faces closely.
Am I the only one lowkey mad at Yoo han? Why force yourself into Yeon woo’s life and make him obsessed with…
I honestly don't think it was YH's intentions to make YW obsessed and go crazy. You can clearly see that YH likes him and cares a lot about him. I bet he would give up on being an idol just to be with YW (or find ways to see YH no matter what happens), he even came to school way earlier just to see him because he missed him.
I'm sure they will be able to work out their relationship. Even if society thinks that monos + probes shouldn't be together because it's dangerous, that won't stop their love and affection for each other.
(Imo, It kind of relates to reality in a way: Like how homosexual relationships are viewed as taboo in some parts of the world, some people will still find ways to be with the ones they like, regardless of how society perceives them)

Also, the person who wrote and directed WYEL is the same person who's directing this drama!
Edit: WeTV doesn't have it
