This was good, BUT?
Word of Honour was not a bad Bl adapation drama, but it was not a good one either; I disliked how they brought some scences to life and the lack of direction the show would take at times, gave an almost directionless feeling to the show at times. The actor who played the Ghost king, the title Ghost King almost did not seem real you never really see him act like at ruler and his personality changes so much throughout the show that it's slightly weird, in a bad way.While the ex-assassian seems to think that because he knew wen kushin when they were young he has a say in his life now, this would not bother me that much if he was not so judgmentle on Wen Kushin choices.
I liked the outfites, besides the music, they were my favorite part of the show.
Plus Scorpion King aka Scorpion, was my favorite villan, he father was a great villan but I have to say I liked Scorpion better.

Similar enough to the anime, the movie adaption deals more with the swords past.I rate the movie more as a 7.8 not lower and not higher.
The acting and plot was decent for a movie of this type but you don’t see anything about the anime in the movie that would rank the movie higher. You don’t see any of the sword summoning and the main character sword is the only high-grade sword that you actually see.
Besides this, the movie is actually pretty decent which is why I rate it at a 7.8. The effects are good and the plot fits and is new to Touken story line.

Boy not Girl!
The main reason I am rating this lower, Is because the main character Ciel, is played by a female in this movie unlike in the anime where Ciel is played by a male.There are a couple differences in the movie compared to the anime but besides the main character being a different gender you can overlook them.
Well there is one thing that you can’t overlook that was a main difference in the movie besides the main characters gender and it’s the reason the Aunt was trying to kill Ciel.
Besides these two things, the movie was overall acted very well and parts were played well. the scenes were made in such a way that you were drawn to what was happening in the moment.
The only reason I rated this slightly lower is for the main two reasons overall this is a very good movie and goes well according to first season of the anime.
