A perfect pair of geniuses
First, I’ve been waiting for this drama. I really liked Hu Yi Tian in A Love So Beautiful and was waiting for another similar romantic drama with him. Although he’s awkwardly tall sometimes, he has a smart charm to him. The intellect roles suit him well.Now onto the drama, I am enjoying the story. It’s a beautiful and innocent story about a girl who quietly loves a boy for 15 years. I don’t mind that it’s taken time for the characters to mature and grow. I like the slow pace.
I first watched Hu Bing Qing in Whirlwind Girl 1. Didn’t like her too much then. But I am loving her in this drama. She plays this role super well. I adore her calm demeanor. Even though LZ has a huge crush on SHN, she is still able to stay calm, collective, smart, and quick wit. Every time she is hurt, she refocuses her attention toward her studies. I admire that about her! She doesn’t let her feelings get in the way. She is strong physically and mentally. She endures. I LOVE her character.
Can’t wait for the next episodes.

Cheating spouses are the worst!
Not a fan of this storyline of cheating spouses but I wanted to give this drama a chance. I am hating the story and characters more and more with each new episode. I am basically fast forwarding through 90% of every episode. I am so disgusted with all the cheating. No matter how unhappy one is in one’s marriage, there’s never a good reason to cheat on your spouse. That’s just a poor excuse. If you’re not happy with your marriage, end it first. Then move on. I am hoping for a silver lining at the end of this. It’s the only reason why I am even sticking through this.Was this review helpful to you?
The whole package!
Wow! Just completed 38.5 episodes in 3 days. Did not feel long at all. Fantastic entire cast, rational storyline (every detail), beautiful scenes, great pacing, perfect ending. Captivating episode after episode. One of THE best historical C-drama I’ve watched. Highly recommend to everyone, and I’m not a big historical drama fan and I LOVE every minute of it. I don’t usually rewatch dramas but this one was done superbly. I didn’t know the ML before watching this drama and wasn’t a huge fan at first but I totally fell in love with him, in fact, all three love interests. Loved how the story unfolded throughout the storytelling. Especially love the added bookends of modern day.Was this review helpful to you?
Beautiful!
What a beautiful and touching story! Short and sweet. Park Hyang Sik was amazing in this. In such a short film, he was able to portray a lovable and charming character who we can all fall in love with. It doesn’t hurt that he is such a good looking man. I like the a lead female too...not annoyingly clumsy or dumb. The supporting actors were all caring and lovable too. It’s darling life lesson for everyone...to make the best of your situation and find blessings even during your worst times. I would totally watch this again.Was this review helpful to you?
Best Drama of 2020!
OMG, the absolute best and most heartwarming drama of 2020! This is the story about life, family, friendship, love, and so much more. Everybody will be able to relate to this. The actors are perfectly selected for their characters. Every single one of them played their roles just right. You cry, you empathize, you laugh, you cry some more, you smile, and you feel for each of these characters. What a superbly written, scripted, and carried out storyline. Chemistry among all of the characters were phenomenal. I ADORE the three leads. Excellent actors, all so talented. No bullshit, no annoying dumb characters. All real stuff. Sweet story. Sad but touching story of two young people
I watched this for Jung Hae In. He is phenomenal in every single drama I’ve seen him so far from While You Were Sleeping to Something in the Rain to One Spring Night to Tune In For Love. He brought something different to each drama but he was probably the coolest in Something the Rain and the most dramatic in Tune In For Love. This movie was such a sad but touching story. I felt for him. I felt the emotions that he was feeling, especially when he was chasing after her. His tears, his sweat, his emotions pour out. Both lead actors were AMAZING. Sweetest love
Forever Love reminds me of Love 020 (the drama series) but with High School sweethearts. Their story is so precious, so pure, so innocent. I adore their devotion and commitment to each other. They succeeded in every test of time, not a small feat for any relationship, especially a young one. The two leads are amazing young actors, especially the male lead. He’s very talented and is a complete natural. I’m already loving him in Go Go Squid 2 right now. Forever Love is successful because of Wang An Yu, for sure. This will be a classic in my book. I would absolutely rewatch this drama, if anything but for the sweetness.Was this review helpful to you?
Cute drama!
I love Miles Wei. I first saw Miles in Find Yourself and thought he was funny. Then I saw him in Count Your Lucky Stars and loved his selfless character. So I waited for Perfect and Casual to become available with English subtitles, so I could see Miles. I find his calm mannerism very charming. He pulls off the intellect well. Of course, he’s super handsome too. He has one of the most delicate faces, especially for a man. I didn’t have any expectations with this drama. I thought the story line was pretty unrealistic at the beginning but not annoying so I was able to keep watching because of Miles. It’s turning out to be a cute drama. Lovely and pure love story. No annoying or clumsy characters scenes. Would totally rewatch this for Miles alone. He was truly perfect in this role.Was this review helpful to you?
Makes your heart flutter
This definitely makes your heart flutters, especially slowed down and closeup scenes of the two leads together. Song Kang is soft yet handsome, gentle yet manly, sweet yet confident, charming yet carefree. He sure captures your attention across the screen. Love him and his character. He has such a beautiful demeanor. I think there’s a lot more behind his story. Hope to find out more about him. So far, I find her a bit annoying as she doesn’t seem to be able to learn from experience and can’t seem to focus on her studies even though she has goals. But I hope her character doesn’t stay so naive and develops further. I like her best friend, who seem to have a great sense of common sense and is aware of all that is around. She seems like a good person. The other other characters are interesting, too. Looking forward to watching the rest of this romantic love story grow.Was this review helpful to you?
Bullying awareness
Thank you for telling this story. Bullying is serious stuff and should always be taken seriously. I am so glad that the director and producer are telling this story so eloquently and I hope this story will help bring more awareness to everyone, especially to young adults. The female lead does a nice job portraying her point of view and the pain she suffers and endures, which will make her stronger. The two male leads sure make it fun to watch. They are both very pleasing to the eyes and ears. Can’t wait for the next episode. I hope there’s a happy ending...Was this review helpful to you?
Promising storyline
Love Dylan Wang so much! For being such a young actor, he’s truly promising. Everything he’s done so far has been phenomenal. He’s young yet experienced, unique yet charming, kiddish yet handsome. I find him very entertaining to watch. He seems to play this character pretty well. Looking forward to watching him develop this role and seeing the rest of this drama. This is the first time I’m watching this actress. I hope I like her. So far I like her strong character. She seems like a smart business woman who will stand up for herself.
