what's the plot twist here? Because 10 episodes in and it's soo boring. They made ML so useless and all he does is spit blood and take mortal hits for FL. I'm more invested in side characters but unfortunately they don't give them any importance.

So the setting is: the ML has a harem of girls, where FL is one of them but within episodes gets "promoted" as a concubine of his (ML). ML was not interested in any of the girls but her.
I can't believe this innocent looking drama turned out to be so good. Very few dramas actually make me tear up and with this one I did so a couple times!! The first half of it is funny but the second half gets real. Definitely a must watch.

I thought I was the only one thinking it! Production, actors, and visual were all great, good quality drama, but the story just was not it. Lots of other ways this could've gone. I had to skip a lot of scenes to get through the drama, glad I'm done.
In my opinion, everything is bad like the acting, low-budget, bad editing...but since it's a different kind of story that's the only thing that makes it interesting.
I just saw the writers also did Bulgasal and The Guest... I knew there was resemblance in them. Really good quality of a story, I just wish The East Palace was longer then it would have been perfect.

1. That is correct. Not all of them were killed. For example, the two previous student government students, Samantha and Raze, or the boy who gets thrown into dark hell jail. They are alive.
2. Samantha is Zein's sister. Her real name though is Allison Shion. From what I understood Samantha (Allison) was an undercover agent trying to free students from Hell University, and when she gets shot she actually was saved by the doctor who was developing the immortality serum.
3. What you wrote is correct. Samantha's "baby" was Lux ,whose real name was Raze Silvenia, who is indeed Ace Craig's brother.
4. Nothing was mentioned about that. I guess the bullet didn't hit the eye directly and that's how he didn't lose his eye? That's my guess.
5. You tell me lol. That was weird. The only reason I can think is that he was reminded of Samantha, just like a student had said to Zein that Zein resembled Samantha in a way (personality).
6. Jealousy. I think he kissed her when he was trying to make a point to Zein when she got too close to Matt.

Noup. It's really bad. Like..bad bad. Acting, scenes, script...all of it is missing quality. Yet I have to admit I finished it but wouldn't recommend it.
I was expecting to see more of MFL (reason why I started watching the drama), but nope...as a character she had a lot of potential, such a skilled swordfighter, yet somehow writers made her so useless.
