I just saw the writers also did Bulgasal and The Guest... I knew there was resemblance in them. Really good quality of a story, I just wish The East Palace was longer then it would have been perfect.
I see a lot of hype for this drama but I'm on episode 6 and so far...I'm not liking it. It's not bad, it's just not that interesting to me? I'll watch one more episode to see if I'll finish it.
1. Some students were not really dead?2. Samantha was Zein's sister? She was killed but got revived somehow. What…
1. That is correct. Not all of them were killed. For example, the two previous student government students, Samantha and Raze, or the boy who gets thrown into dark hell jail. They are alive.
2. Samantha is Zein's sister. Her real name though is Allison Shion. From what I understood Samantha (Allison) was an undercover agent trying to free students from Hell University, and when she gets shot she actually was saved by the doctor who was developing the immortality serum.
3. What you wrote is correct. Samantha's "baby" was Lux ,whose real name was Raze Silvenia, who is indeed Ace Craig's brother.
4. Nothing was mentioned about that. I guess the bullet didn't hit the eye directly and that's how he didn't lose his eye? That's my guess.
5. You tell me lol. That was weird. The only reason I can think is that he was reminded of Samantha, just like a student had said to Zein that Zein resembled Samantha in a way (personality).
6. Jealousy. I think he kissed her when he was trying to make a point to Zein when she got too close to Matt.
7. You mean Dark Hell Jail? That was a very secret way of getting out of Hell University but Ace explains that they had to be very careful with its use or else Madam Violet could find out about it and they would be exposed, ending any possible way of getting out of HU.
8. According to the drama? They wanted to prove they had survived that hell. But yeah, it doesn't make sense. I would get away from there as fast as possible lol.
9. That honestly is just bad writing. The drama itself lacks common sense all the time so no wonder they left out the fact that students needed saving.
Noup. It's really bad. Like..bad bad. Acting, scenes, script...all of it is missing quality. Yet I have to admit I finished it but wouldn't recommend it.
I was expecting to see more of MFL (reason why I started watching the drama), but nope...as a character she had a lot of potential, such a skilled swordfighter, yet somehow writers made her so useless.
As someone who didn't watch Princess Agents, this is so hard to watch but I'm trying my best to understand what's going on here. So I have a couple questions: 1. Is this sequel following immediately where Princess Agents ends, or is it another lifetime? 2. Does the memories the FL have (where she is a slave, etc) things that actually happened in Princess Agents or are they totally new content?
I have no interest in Princess Agents, but for some reason I really want to like Rebirth.
I started this drama thinking it would be a combination of action, mystery and romance. Not even close to what this is. The drama is mainly focused on the many cases the police needs to solve. That is it.
I see a lot of reviews about how good or bad actors are in this kdrama but my question is, is the kdrama good? Does it tell a good/fun/entertaining story?
I took the advice of watching this drama ignoring reviews but it wasn't what I expected. I thought it was a drama of cat chasing the mouse with action scenes in between, but noup. The roulette game is not even the main plot, and it all focuses on one serial r*pist who comes out of prison after a minimum sentence, and who by the way ended up annoying me so much. Characters are meh, not interesting or anything. Although I would've love to see more of Mr. Smile. Anyway, watch it if you want to, if not, you're not missing much.
