Bittersweet ending :( it's a good drama, I'd give it an 8. I ended up liking the main leads, the three of them, and that ending left me sad.

Bromance is...I'd say weak, but the little there is is funny to watch. as for romance, there isn't romance but two of the guys have a crush on FL so there are a couple scenes that could be under the "romance" umbrella.

It's truly a gem. The drama has a good balance of comedy and interesting plots.

Is there a need to watch season 1 to understand this one?

I answer my own question. It's not until ep 21 that things start to get better. Too bad it's too late in the drama for me to be interested anymore. I had to skip to the ending and be done with it.

what's the plot twist here? Because 10 episodes in and it's soo boring. They made ML so useless and all he does is spit blood and take mortal hits for FL. I'm more invested in side characters but unfortunately they don't give them any importance.

I would describe this one as a bromance type of drama. If anything watch it for the visuals, they're so good.

So the setting is: the ML has a harem of girls, where FL is one of them but within episodes gets "promoted" as a concubine of his (ML). ML was not interested in any of the girls but her.

I can't believe this innocent looking drama turned out to be so good. Very few dramas actually make me tear up and with this one I did so a couple times!! The first half of it is funny but the second half gets real. Definitely a must watch.

I thought I was the only one thinking it! Production, actors, and visual were all great, good quality drama, but the story just was not it. Lots of other ways this could've gone. I had to skip a lot of scenes to get through the drama, glad I'm done.

In my opinion, everything is bad like the acting, low-budget, bad editing...but since it's a different kind of story that's the only thing that makes it interesting.

Is there any romance?

I just saw the writers also did Bulgasal and The Guest... I knew there was resemblance in them. Really good quality of a story, I just wish The East Palace was longer then it would have been perfect.

It's worth the watch. Since it's only 8 episodes there's no time for side-stories worth exploring, but other than it is good.

I see a lot of hype for this drama but I'm on episode 6 and so far...I'm not liking it. It's not bad, it's just not that interesting to me? I'll watch one more episode to see if I'll finish it.

no problem. I just finished watching it and I have mixed feelings about it. I keep saying it is a bad drama which makes it good lol
