- Hye Sun tries to take a drunk Do Jae Jin home. But he keeps stripping and acting weird (coz he's a crazy drunk). So she brings him to a room in her hotel suite to sleep. (He thinks they slept together but they didn't lol). - In the webtoon, there was a red thread plot also, so I predict this will happen: Shortly after Dam visits Shin Woo Yeo in his house, they'll be awkward at first and then eventually have skinship. - In the webtoon, this meant an X-rated scene. Dam accidentally put on her shirt backwards after they did it so SWY had to correct her. 😂 - More jealousy moments! Dam needs a part-time job for the summer/for vacation, and she ends up working at the same convenience store place as Gye Seon Woo (it's owned by his cousin). She doesn't tell Shin Woo Yeo so at 3am or something he follows her out and discovers her part time job with Gye Seon Woo. - Shin Woo Yeo is starting to get jealous. Sometimes, though, the red thread of fate connects to him and not just to Gye Seon Woo. - Dam has to go on a school trip eventually for the summer. Shin Woo Yeo can't go so he tries to act cute and back hugs her so she won't leave. But Dam still has to go to the trip. This is where the red thread plot manifests a lot, since Gye Seon Woo will end up confessing to her while drunk again? (But idk...this happened already in the show so maybe they will cut out this scene). - Some happier moments that I hope they include in the drama: One time, Dam gets her grades back. She does okay, but she gets a C in SWY's class. So she goes to him and confronts him, like, "I got an A in all my exams and quizzes, why are you giving me a C?" And he's like, "Coz I know you didn't do that one homework—you went on a date with another guy instead." And they bicker for a bit, until Dam's phone beeps and apparently there was an error in submitting her grades. Her C changes to an A. And SWY is all, "Yeah, I was really gonna give you an A anyway, but I got jealous so I wanted to scare you a bit." Then he leaves. 😅
ADDENDUM: During their trip (the summer one without Shin Woo Yeo), Gye Seon Woo confesses again while drunk. Anyway, during the school trip, when they get back to school, Gye Seon Woo talks to Dam and she trips on her red string (this string also connects to SWY sometimes I think?). And then she falls into Shin Woo Yeo's arms. Shin Woo Yeo is there to pick her up, so Dam has to make Gye Seon Woo promise he won't tell anyone she's dating their professor.
But Gye Seon Woo asks to speak to Dam in private. He tells Dam to be careful because he saw SWY dating another professor. Dam doesn't believe it at first. And then students start shipping that professor with SWY. She goes to the faculty room to investigate, and finds the female professor looking pale and sickly. And it turns out SWY is seducing that female professor for her energy. And Dam gets sad, confronts SWY, and leaves.
She gets drunk at a convenience store that night. Gye Seon Woo finds her drunk, but she won't tell him his address. So she sleeps in his car, in the shotgun seat, while he sleeps in the driver's seat.
The next day, Dam screams because she "slept" with Gye Seon Woo (in his car, lel) and runs to school. Since both of them are wearing their clothes from the day before, people speculate that they spent the night together. Then Gye Seon Woo returns her ponytail to Dam, and people start to gossip more.
Shin Woo Yeo gets worried and kinda jealous, but Hye Sun stops him before he does something he regrets.
Predictions for Episode 9 from someone who read the webtoon:
The drama has stuck fatefully to the webtoon plot so far. However, I've noticed a lot of deviations, starting with the serial killer plot.
- In the webtoon: Dam kind of confronts Shin Woo Yeo tearfully in university about pretending not to know her. After they make up, and are happy etc, there's a scene wherein Dam goes on a school trip (without SWY) and Gye Seon Woo confesses to her while drunk. - Based on Episode 9's preview, it seems like they are going on a trip and Shin Woo Yeo will be the one to confront Dam instead about remembering him... - This could be very wrong, but my theory is the drama *might* try to combine the two scenes from the webtoon?

He was, though iirc there were scenes of him helping her when she was drunk and stuff and even warning her when SWY was *spoiler alert* seducing other professors for their human energy.

Hi, yes he does! So here is a detailed spoiler from the final chapter of the manhwa. I used a translator to understand it.
Detailed spoiler: Basically, Dam kisses SWY. He's shocked that she's making a move. Anyway, as they kiss, you can see his tails showing and then they disappear. Then you see the marble turn blue. In the distance, "God" is watching them while holding the blue marble, and he's like, "Right," because he's satisfied that SWY finally became human after nearly 1000 years. SWY is so moved that he's finally human that he starts crying, lol.
In a different scene, we see Hye Sun burst into tears. Jae Jin begins to comfort her. Basically, Hye Sun gets a flashback to ancient times, to when her first human love died. While the human love is dying, he sees "God" who makes a deal with him. I think it's to be reborn 11 times until he meets Hye Sun again when she's human? (I'm not sure if she's supposed to be a fox or a human). Yeah, Hye Sun basically realizes Jae Jin is the guy reborn.
Anyway, "God" realizes that Hye Sun finally realizes, so he's kinda annoyed but satisfied.
Because Hye Sun and SWY are crying (and the saying that every time it rains, it is because a nine-tailed fox weeps), it starts to rain. So Jae Jin rushes to cover her with his jacket.
Back to SWY and Dam, she's like "Sir, it's raining!" And he's like, "Of course!" Then Dam says they should return home cheerfully and SWY is like. "Yes! Anywhere with you!" The end. 🥰💖
Why does Shin Woo Yeo keeping the marble from Lee Dam?
Because he feels attracted to Lee Dam.
The rule is that once you take the marble back, you have to erase the person's memories. Since Lee Dam is making his marble blue, he hesitates to take it back, so as not to lose his chance of being a human.
However, the real reason is that he can't bear to erase Dam's memories. He doesn't want to live in a world where she no longer remembers him.

In the webtoon, when this happened, SWY feels so guilty about withholding information from Dam that he takes the marble from her and "erases her memories." - BUT! For some reason, Dam's memories aren't erased. Idk why she's immune but it makes zero sense for her memories not to be erased. - SWY becomes a professor at her university (lel, I know, I know). I guess he just wants to guard Dam? Kinda sus but okay... - Dam can't bear it (because she kept her memories, right) so she goes to him and confronts him. And she's really mad (understandably so)! - Again, no killer plot, so idk how that will factor into the drama. - After a lot of shenanigans, we get a happy ending!
