True, that's why I mentioned in my earlier comment that there should be a consultation with experts before filling the gap in the law.

I specifically used the word, people who lack mental ability to provide informed consent, for that reason. That should be the bottom line, ability to provide informed consent.

And, parents or guardian cannot provide consent for sexual relationship with their intellectually disabled children. That would be messed up. If the individual cannot consent, then no one should have sex with them. The reason maybe different things: being unconscious, being excessively drunk, drugged, or lacking mental ability to provide informed consent.

It would set a dangerous precedent, a slippery slope to allow guardian to step-in and consent. Not all parents will have best interest of their child. Some maybe so obsessed with having grandchild, they will overlook the welfare of the child. Some may pick a partner who they think is better for their child.

Intellectual disability is defined by IQ under 70, the victim has an IQ of 65. WYW has an IQ of 164. WYW is neurodivergent, not Intellectual disabled. So, it doesn't make sense to compare WYW with the victim of ep.10. Although, I get why WYW herself is affected by the case. Even though they have different IQ levels, their experience of society is similar.

The lawmakers, that is politicians should consult with experts, hold public hearings, and make clear definitions regarding the intellectually disabled, and their ability to consent. If anything, watching that episode made me feel that the law in that area was ambiguous. If the law says a person with an intellectual disability cannot consent, then the case would have been an open and shut case. The mental age of consent should probably be taken into account when someone is of legal age but has intellectual disabilities. Maybe the current limit, IQ of 70 suggests that they are below 18. I haven't looked into it

If I am not wrong, some countries don't allow people with intellectual disabilities to vote. An argument can be that they are mentally below 18, but they will also never be able to vote. This means that politicians have no incentive to pass the law that will improve the quality of life for intellectual disabilities. So, the law for the intellectually disabled can't be oversimplified.

It is something I am a little concerned about as well. I want people to use my lists when they are looking for BL. I don't want them to be disappointed after picking something from the list

I am more worried, that her father will think about taking her away out of guilt [about breaking the promise] or simply wanting to separate WYW and her mom [because he is convinced that she is a bad person by now].

Personally, If I have seen the shows. I would add the shows to the list, even if there are no skin-ship, like word of honor, for example. Because it is very obvious they are soulmates, even if they describe their relationship as senior and junior.

I really really hope they won't separate WYW and LJH by sending her to Boston. I hope it wouldn't even get to the point where WYW decides to go, but stops at the last minute. I am tired of such plots. Like, can't you make the last few episodes interesting without separating them?

If she wasn't crying so much in ep 8, I would think she asked "do you resent me?" because she wanted to know if WYW was in on "the plan" or if she was being "used"

Yes, it was very much in line with her character.

I have seen only Untamed and Word of Honor. I feel Word of Honor is clearly better than the Untamed.

I don't know, I am open to feedback on this. Inclusion/exclusion criteria is not set in stone as of now.

I like this so much because I feel the urge to do the same thing when someone expresses their feelings toward me. I want to be alone and think it through.

I think he was sentenced to prison. Even though he has letters from the victim's parents, he said, he doesn't feel any remorse and he will do it again if he could. All WYW did was destroy the other attorney's claim that he was delusional. As a result, they lost the case. But, she realised, that winning the case was important for the defendant's mother. But, for the defendant, it is that ideology, that was important. If they argued that he was delusional, he won't have to go to prison, but his ideology and activism would become a joke. He didn't want that, that is why he thanked her as well.

I think they didn't show the ruling deliberately. Because ruling would have been more about his mother's idea of winning. The defendant got what he wanted. Raise questions about the schooling system. The case itself is not complicated, he took children without the parent's consent. That's a crime. They only hoped to get the sentence reduced by suggesting he is delusional.

I agree, but there were people complaining that there shouldn't even be slight romance tag because they don't how why and how they both fall in love. But I love this, I love that we focus on their relationship instead of questioning why they fell in love, how they fell in love..
